The equipment is interesting and exciting to kids without posing almost any danger, and from 18 months on, they can do almost everything themselves. There are no swings you have to push them on, no ladders you have to hover over while they climb. Just sit on one of the many benches and relax! If you live within a mile or two, and are in charge of some people in diapers, do yourself a favor and find this little patch of fun tucked just outside the elementary school grounds.

Kathryn was the staff at the front and was very friendly and knowledgeable. She informed me of what qualifies and not. From what I remember as long as there isn't a third party payer involved with your payment, your adult membership should be included in nationwide access - with exception of some individual clubs. I was able to join step class and had fun with Bonnie and her crew. Fast and efficient! Got a workout in while on vacation and I couldn't be happier.

On warm days, one can always hear people playing baskbetball and volleyball. There are brick ledges with brick floors on two corners of the park which are perfect for adding extra seating or places to put food and other items while tailgating. The whole park is filled with tailgaters prior to Badger Football games. This is one of only a couple Madison parks that allow alcoholic beverages. You just can't have glass containers!

The heavyweight lifters corner still smells like the worst smell in the world you can think of. I see they have a private area for women so they don't have to endure sexism. The one week that I was in there, I had a guy look at me really weird and felt uncomfortable. It's just not the place that it was when it opened. Except for figuring your membership cost out in two minutes to be everything you've gotten in your pocket.

Frustrating that some members slam weights and do not re-rack weights as it is posted on signs all over the gym. Exercise classes are great and so if the rooftop area!
