We enjoy eating here whenever we are in Wolfe City. I especially like the chicken quesadillas. The food is good and reasonably priced.

We have been enjoying this New find in Commerce for about Six months. It's absolutely fantastic…read more I always get the Street tacos. And they are always consistently delicious with a decent amount of meat. Expensive for Street Tacos. But delicious. Because of my many experience being consistent. I decided to use this restaurant to place my catering order for our families Christmas Dinner. I Totally understand it's a small business and didn't care about the pricing because my experience had been it was fair based on quality and quantity. I also understand catering is NOT a specialty. Pricing is per meal as if you were ordering dinner from the menu. I as I've stated I expected the $420 for 100 Taco's Beans and Rice and four Large White Queso's. I have ZERO complaints about the quality as always it's fabulous and that is why I gave five 's. The Quantity of main Ingredients (meat) for the Street Tacos is where I was disappointed. I ordered twenty five, four taco plates. Totaling 100 tacos. It was so disappointing to see that there was hardly any Chicken or Steak on so many of the taco's that my family made nagative comment's comments. Shocked at how much I had paid. It basically was four tacos with the equivalent of two taco worth of meat if that. I had also ordered four large white queso's. When I picked up the order there were so many White Styrofoam cups filled with salsa I didn't know what was what at the time. The cups were equivalent to a small soft drink cup. in my mind that was my mistake, I should've confirmed the sizes of what a Large Queso to go looked like. Nonetheless my purpose of this review is for future reference for anyone who orders catering, be aware that the food is absolutely worth the price. The disappointment was finding that out of four tacos per person. The meat equivalent was two tacos, so there were a lot of taco shells, but not a lot of meat and the queso size is not a large cup of queso it's what they're large size "bowl" is at the restaurant poured into a cup. So just be aware of those things maybe in time as the restaurant does more catering. These things will adjust themselves?? The Amount of Salsa and Chips with Onions and Cilantro was excessive. Compared to the most important things. The actual meal. I had told my sister NOT to order any other food from the Mexican Restaurant she normally goes to because I felt like I had ordered plenty. I was wrong. This definitely wouldn't stop me from eating here again, it would definitely keep me from placing a large catering order. Hopefully this will change by Next Christmas? It's our yearly Christmas dinner.

Food is always so good when we come. I will say it's better in person. The setting is real nice and…read morecomfy.

And actually, it's not in the middle of "nowhere" so much as lots of rural houses but no other restaurants. Also, there's no proper bathroom, just a porta potty. *But* that was the only downside. And the restaurant was so bright and nice. I'm sure they've done all they can with a limited location/budget. Besides the main restaurant, there's a food truck next door, and I think it's all really the same owners. The latter has desserts (I got the arroz con leche), hamburgers, et al. I think they have daily specials? There was a sign in the back, but partially blocked. Like, Wed is chili relleno, Thu enchiladas, Fri fish tacos, Sat/Sun menudo? You can ask. The waitress was very friendly and competent, and I felt her English was pretty good. But I still ended up just googling some of the menu for my own understanding. When I learned they had cabeza tacos, I had to try that. If I had the room, I'd have tried the "bombapal" which looks like a lot of nopal and a lot of food overall. Curious! From FB, I saw they had a tortilla soup today ($9.80). The waitress said it was good, so I ordered it. She was right! It was really tasty. Also, she put two salsa bottles on the table, and she said one was hot, and the other was really hot ... but that they were both really hot. Lol. She was right! They were both distinct and had a very good kick. For a "hole-in-the-wall" Mexican place, this had really nice lighting and ambience (except for no indoor toilet). Everything was clean and bright. I'm curious to try all their other authentic dishes!

We've lived around here for ages and every single time we drove past, we'd say, "One day!" Well, that day came, and we bravely joined the queue, fully prepared for a long haul. To our absolute delight, we were whisked away to a table in barely 15 minutes! Can you believe it? I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner - that wait was nothing! As soon as we sat down, they brought out a glorious spread of chips, salsa, and refreshing waters. Our waiter was super friendly and gave us plenty of time to pore over the menu, which, let me tell you, is massive! They've got a fantastic selection, leaning heavily towards authentic Mexican dishes (which you know I adore!), but with some delicious Tex-Mex options thrown in too. We went all out and ordered a feast: sizzling fajitas, delectable street tacos, savory beef enchiladas, tasty chicken enchiladas, and a hearty stew meat burrito. Of course, we did the obligatory plate-passing to get a taste of everything. And honestly? Every single dish was out-of-this-world good! My absolute standout favorite had to be the beef enchiladas with their rich red sauce. It was so incredibly flavorful, and what I loved most was that they didn't drown it in queso - it was perfectly balanced and just, ah-mazing! A little tip if you're thinking of going: try to hit them up earlier in the day if you can, when it's less busy, and you'll practically walk right in. They've also got a full bar and some fun music playing overhead, adding to the whole vibe. Just a heads up, when it's packed, it can get a bit loud, but honestly, it just adds to the lively atmosphere. All in all, it was an absolutely delightful experience, and we're already planning our next visit!

We were sat immediately, chips and salsa and drinks came quickly. The chips were fresh and the salsa made with roasted veggies was super yummy. This is definitely more authentic Mexican than other nearby places. So good... We shared the "Table side Guacamole" and the flavor was excellent, although we laughed that it didn't specify which table it was made next to, as it was brought to us already prepared. The server helped me decide on a child relleno with fresh flour tortillas and my husband the Parrillada Especial. It was so much food and arrived quickly. The Parrillada could have easily fed 3-4 people. The prices were great for what you get! The chicken was marinated perfectly and all the flavors were all on point. The relleno was yummy and huge! I was pleasantly surprised at how good the rice was too! I wish I had gotten the server's name as she was very attentive and made the whole experience great. This would have been 5 stars for things like if the menus were clean and if the bathrooms were more ADA friendly and clean. All in all a very good experience though. Great first experience! We'll be back.
