But on the top floor there's a nice roof top terrasse with a nice view of the street and parts of the historic parts of Corralejo. The menu offers meat for steaks or burgers in various combinations and weights as well as a great list of incrediences for your personal burger. For size, your burger can be anything from 120-500gr of meat, possibly even more. I tried a 300gr burger which wass very good to handle and was almost perfect in taste. This was the best burger in town and, as far as we cold try, the best we found on the island.

So I was pretty happy to go for a 100grs burger with cheddar, tomato, lettuce and onions. They let you order all of these toppings with no extra charge. You can choose the type of meat, even order just a burger without the bun. The bun is soo good though, it was just perfect. You can get a pretty big portion of fries on the side for just €2,50. Staff was also lovely and we ended up going back here a week later cause it was so good. Highly recommended if you want to be sure of a properly made burger.

The Bun was great. fluffy and solid enough to hold the 240g regular size burger. You can also have a double patty option, that will up this beast to 480g. The problem with most burgers of size, I experienced so far, was taste. This sadly was no exception. The Patty itself was pretty lame and tasteless. It's a cosy surfer place, so not much space on the inside, but it's summer, so why bother. There's plenty of space to sit on the outside. Burgers come in two sizes reasonably big and twice as big. Inside is the galley kitchen and 3 tall tables with bar stools brightly coloured to compliment the decoration. Sparkly beads and hand painted murals adorn the walls along with trinkets and canvases giving the place an eclectic feel. Outside there are 6 tables under a fairy light canopy. There is a simple but satisfying menu of good food done well. Huge chicken 'nuggets' go well with the house made coleslaw and the delicious chilli is comforting with enough of a kick to satisfy most and the calzone is perfection in a folded crust. Rumoured to have one of the best Sunday roasts on the island we have not managed to snag a table to try it but next visit we will book in advance and I recommend you do the same to avoid disappointment. Yes, Casbah knows how to feed people and if you like an after dinner brandy try the local brand over ice. Heaven!

But, meh. Still tasted like the syrup you'd give to your kids (but don't though, really). I thought maybe I'm just such a hard core cocktail connoisseur and I've become immune.. But the lady sitting near us seemed to have the same complaint and actually sent her mojito back cause it wasn't good enough. He mentioned that we was going to visit a burger bar and my response was unenthused as I had visions of another famous burger chain bar but he reassured me that these burgers would be like nothing I've ever tasted before and he was right (ok, yes, my boyfriend is right some of the time)! It's located down a lovely side street which originally used to be the main road and is an intimate setting with just a few tables (this was originally a tapas bar) and the British couple, Garry and Sarah who bought it have kept most of the original interior and added a few personal touches. I must say what lovely, friendly, chatty people they were and made everyone who walked in feel like a long standing friend (most of them actually were). Not only did we sample the best, mouthwatering burgers (twice) but received a lowdown on the Island's highlights. I had to fight off wandering hands as my boyfriend tried to sample my burger. Never have I been more territorial about my food. I had the four cheeses variety which really did melt in my mouth and then a few days later, tried the Caribbean which had caramelised peach, yum.
