We had one of their specials, a marinated eggplant salad with wonderful feta cheese. I don't know what they did but the eggplant was so tasty. Delicious. We also had a rice/egg dish. A portion of right with two fried eggs with deliciously runny yolks plus a delicious pepper/tomato topping. The topping was fresh and so tasty. This is really Spanish comfort food. On the menu are also a nice selection of options with beef and pork, etc. We had two glasses of wine. For dessert we opted for the tart queso, which is like a super dense, rich cheese cake with this thick syrup. It was rich and amazing...you need to share with two people, it would have been too much otherwise. The decor is cute and funky, colorful and fun. The music was fun with Jimi Hendrix to some others. We were the only people dining at the time, so I wish it was more busy when we were there. But this was a great way to start our Spanish adventure. It came in a ceramic bowl that had steaming hot shrimp and slices of garlic and peppers still cooking in the ceramic bowl. It was so hot, but perfect for a cold day. After a day trip to Toledo, I was super tired and decided to have my dinner nearby. Turn out everything I experienced that night surprised me, from the atmosphere, service to their food.
