    Nachos-Taco Tuesday - Quac-
    Dell M.

Seating hostess - cold in seating - barely can hear - music very loud - chips and salsa bar was empty- dark to see your food - Taco Tuesday- the person delivering food said tacos will be 30-40 minutes- margaritas were too sour - 2 of the pork tacos with pineapple were too sweet - nachos were good - quac- good can't go wrong with this dish - tacos were served on flour tortillas? Meh- you must order off web site with no one to request no cheese on items - hats are shared as we viewed a kid with 10 hats on his head then left them behind - viewed new patrons put the same hats on.

Alcoholic drinks were fine, but the food was off. Taste was not right/not any better than Taco Bell level. Carne Asada is ground beef here so Taco Bell Level sounds about right.. its a fun spot really, but there are some things that sort of defeat the purpose of the theme... for example, the MASSIVE BORDER PATROL BADGE ON THE WALL. Would not recommend, even scolded at the person that recommended to us. Pros: Drinks are reasonably priced Looks like the place can get hectic and fun Cons: Food wasn't good/worth the cost Bit offensive theme

I would never come here again and I would not recommend this to anyone. Food was fine- not impressive and similar to what you would get in a build your own cafeteria. When we asked for water we received a stack of three cups and one was filled with dirty napkins- which is a probably a health code violation. When we asked for a time on the wait of our food after 30 minutes, server said she would check and never returned and the hostess was very rude and told us there was a wait which we weren't previously informed of. When we finally did receive our food, the server dropped the food onto one of our laps. She was not very apologetic and said that it was the tables fault, she also did not apologize for the cup with the dirty napkins in it. Staff is rude, resturaunt is unsanitary, food is meh.

Went out with a group for my birthday on a Friday night, had great vibes, was very loud which we were expecting. The hats are always so fun. Definitely a great place to start off the night. Had a QR code ordering system which was great for a group to order their own food and drinks, we did notice that when we ordered by this code that the tequila shots turned out more expensive than when they were when we ordered at the bar half an hour later. The King Caesar Taco was smaller than I expected for the price, but it tasted amazing and considering it's a restaurant in the city I wasn't too surprised. We tried tasting platters of all the Frozen Not So Soft Drink series and weren't too big of a fans of most of them, the Mango, Strawberry and Creaming Soda ones were good.

We stumbled across this restaurant on a Tuesday after taking the ferry over from the zoo. $2 tacos and $7 margaritas... yes! Sign these Americans up! The staff were friendly and were quick to help. We ordered our drinks and meals and then found a nice table to sit outside with a nice view of the water . A bug flew in my drink and the staff did not hesitate to replace it . If I'm ever in Manly again I'll be sure to stop in. Oh, free salsa and chips as well!

Came here for some drinks with friends on a Saturday night. Definitely need to have a reservation because it can get very busy, and we had to wait a while even when we had a reservation. The drinks here are well-priced and we could order contactless through our phones. The atmosphere is great, but can get quite loud with the music.

We were eating the food too fast to photograph it was beautiful

This place is amazing! Great atmosphere and an amazing ordering system which partners perfectly with the very friendly staff! Food was brilliant. I will definitely be coming back

This felt just like Tex-Mex in the states. Some of the decor was a bit over the top american, but found it funny. The chips were all you can eat, and flowing out of the trunk of an old car for you to serve yourself. They use an online menu ordering system that we found a bit confusing at first. It was great when we finally figured it out but it took us a while to find someone to explain it to us. We had a quesadilla and a few tacos. All very delicious, and hit the spot.

Ehh, with so much good food in Sydney it's hard to recommend this place. Definitely a very touristy place with average food at best. Service is essentially non-existent and drinks weak. Nothing was especially good or tasty. Nacho station was messy. Tables sticky. Decor is loud... good for big parties due to space. Just go somewhere else.

5/5 Good tacos. Good HH Deals. Banging margaritas. Free chips and salsa. What else can you ask for? Since coming here from the states, I've been looking for a solid tacos and margaritas joint. This place fks. Prices are $2 a taco on Tuesday and HH deals from 7.50 from M-F. You can also add a extra shot of tequila for $4 which, i highly recommend, bc alcohol cures all your problems.

Delicious $2 tacos on Tuesday with bottomless tortilla chips (with salsa and guac) that you can refill yourself from a refurbished car - I would assume a camino is what brought us to this otherwise unknown new restaurant where ananas once was. The interior looks like a Spanish restaurant you might find in America with a bit of old school diner inspiration. The walls are adorned with bright lights, records and pin up girls and the seats are a sparkly plastic you might expect to have seen in an 80s roller disco. The music is a combination of old and older tunes with artists like Green Day and the Eagles - perhaps a take on a juke box. The menus are made from old records and feature favs like jalapeño poppers, tortilla soup, taco salad, fajitas, tacos and other meatier mains. A man in a suit, presumably a manager or GM came to tell us we could refill our own nachos which was a lovely surprise. I can't say which taco was my favorite as they were all great (corn tortillas available). The pork might be the winner but the chicken and beef mince are not far behind. I assume the $2 taco options rotate from Tuesday to Tuesday (today wasalthough my guess is that the $2 tacos won't last -it's seems like a lot of work. Our order was actually a bit messed up and people kept bringing stuff out or asking if we were missing anything. Usually we were still waiting except at the end when my coworker was asked to take one taco out of the basket for himself and presumably the rest went to another table. For $2, I'll put up with almost anything but I'm not certain they will want to keep doing it unless they allow you to order from the bar and pre-pay moving forward. Cheap, filling and a definite experience!

Stopped in randomly one night because it was Taco Tuesday! Was very happy with our decision. We were promptly served chips and salsa and we ordered drinks. The sangria I got was pretty good. The chips served with salsa were somewhat thick and slightly unappetizing. The menu is really cool! It's a record. Went to the bar to order tacos. Only a few of them are $2 but we were fine with that. After we ordered we didn't get a number, like the other tables, but we were told they would be able to find us and deliver the food. We waited for about an hour for the tacos to come out. The waitress said there was some hold up in the kitchen. The wait was worth it though the tacos were fantastic. Would go back again. $2 tacos are just worth it.

I like the idea. Big, big, BIG Mexican joint but with quality food. Turned up during Vivid, so that was my funeral. No shortage of staff, but only one guy per 10 tables to TAKE the order. Food was pretty good and actually quick from when ordered. Actually, our chicken fajitas weren't sizzling at all. Tasted fine though. Good selection of hot sauces.

Nachos with chicken, Guac and margaritas...extra shot of Don Julio Blanco on the side.

Flathead Civiche was delicious, Brussels Sprouts were super tasty, and we also enjoyed the twice cooked Pork Belly. Not so good was the Pato Ahumado. The mole was really tasty but not enough, and the breast was really tough and fatty, plus no proper cutlery provided. Really disappointing, as we couldn't eat or enjoy it and it was like we just threw $72 away. While I did appreciate their coursing, we did wait for long periods between. Cocktails were good, as was a glass of wine, but pours are very light. Recommended, for sure. Avoid the duck.

Drinks were better than the food. They stuff the families toward the back but lack any amenities (no changing table) except a high chair. Service started off friendly but it took a while to get someone to take our order and then they forgot our dish which came out cold when we asked for it. Then we had to flag someone down to pay the bill. The watermelon salad was tasty but not complex, tossed with a few cucumbers and pistachios. The corn lollipops with spicy mayo sauce were probably the best dish. The beef empanadas were cold and average though the salsa was an interesting pickled onion. Definitely skip the octopus dish- it was dry, over cooked and lacked flavor though the presentation looked promising. It came with squares of polenta and dallops of potato mash with a dramatic squid ink streak across the dish but no interesting flavors stood out. All those dishes and still left hungry. The Guadalajara passion fruit drink was easy to sip and not too strong. The beer was average. This is more of a spot to grab some mixed cocktails and a few snacks but not meal worthy.

We started off with Margarita's - they have $10 margaritas on Mondays (or perhaps all weekdays). We lost count of how many we had, they were so good. On to the food, we tried a little bit of everything - we ordered corn lollipops, jalapeño poppers, grilled halloumi, batata bravas to start and we shared 2 items from the grill which I can't remember (probably because of the margarita's). We ended with churros & chocolate sauce which was awesome. Service was good and the staff waiting us was very friendly. He also recommended us portions for certain items to match our party size. For instance, we didn't have to order 2 portions of an appetizer instead we could order one and a half portion which I think was great. It allowed us to chose more dishes than more quantity of the same dish.

Good Mexican is always hard to find and this spot is well hidden on level 6 of Westfield building…read more This level reminded me of an airport terminal. We started with corn chips with a bean dip. The corn chips were clearly fresh and that made a big difference. Really yum and the dip was perfect to match. Next up was grilled corn with a creamy butter coriander sauce. This was nothing special. Was more looking for something a little bit spicer considering its a Mexican. The ancient grain salad was served. This salad contained quinoa, broccoli, pumpkin, chia and pomegranate seeds with a tequila sauce. This was a great choice on the menu and definitely would choose this one again. For the mains we selected Beef enchiladas and Cod. The beef enchiladas was pretty good but not exceptional and was a little light in the meat department. The cod was not what you would traditionally expect from a Mexican so figured it was a good choice to go with. It turned out to be a stellar one. The cod was beautiful and had a nice smoky sauce to go with it. Amazingly there was room for dessert and decided to opt for the Chilli Brownie. The brownie was made with dark chocolate and didn't have that overly heavy after feeling that you get from some desserts. Just didn't really notice the chilli in it though but still nice. The experience was really good in this place. The atmosphere was very relaxed and would certainly come back again.
