Their customer service dept.(this dept is there for anything but service) has been calling my home phone non stop for over 6 months . After dealing with them and finally getting in a yelling contest between me and someone in India I told them to cancel cancel cancel cancel the paper. Ever since then they have been harassing me with non stop phone calls . I am ready to file a complaint with a State agency ,this should be illegal . I use love them now I HATE them. Within less than 24 hours, I contacted the customer service through chat, and they refused to refund the enormous charge for the year - that I did not authorize. I prefer the Detroit free press. The writing is better. There are a couple Detroit news employees in my neighborhood who work from home, who are doing house chores, run errands when they're supposed to be working. These are the Detroit news employees, not engaged, just like the articles.

Full disclosure: I was friendly with a former editor of this newspaper, so I'm biased…read more However, I think this newspaper, which comes out twice a week, does a nice job with local community news, including covering the thriving Middle Eastern subculture in Dearborn. I'm not sure they're still doing it, but the last time I checked, the paper did a special business section in conjunction with the American Arab Chamber of Commerce on a regular basis, for instance. The paper is attractive, with a well-designed front page. And, of course, most importantly, the news is well-written and relevant to the residents of Dearborn and Dearborn Heights.
