The most amazing olives. Their food was absolutely superb!!! Went there twice in our quick 4 days…read moretrip.

We showed up for 8:30 dinner. We were the first ones, and it's also when the restaurant opens for…read moredinner (restaurant closed until 8:30 and serves dinner until 11:30). They sat us upstairs because we wanted Tapas vs. dinner. Dinner menu shows a dish cost 20 plus euros, Tapas range between 3 euro to 15 euro and the portion is huge. I cannot eat Spanish food in San Francisco - I say that but I do on occasion go out to eat in San Francisco's Spanish restaurant, but the truth of the matter is - French and Spanish food are way overpriced in San Francisco. Tapas are cheap and good in Spain and the freshness of the food is always night and day comparing to what they serve up in California (I know that I'm generalizing but it's largely true). The burrata course is amazing. Buffalo milk is different than cow milk. Their version of burrata is fresh buffalo milk. Taste delicious. Ceviche is different than Mexico's but this one I could do without. It's a little acidic but I think if you are into healthy food, this is a good option. The dried tuna salad is amazing. The tuna reminded me the same kind of method of curing as I had seen in Norway. It's almost a cross between jerk and cured fish. Slightly tougher than what you'd see in ahi tuna, once you get over the texture then you can enjoy this salad that is filled with watercress and edible flowers. I liked it a lot. Definitely something you'd see in Scandinavian countries. The cheese course is always a crowd pleaser and the octopus, for that I'm upping the rating to a 5. Octopus - let me pause and explain, is slightly charred, and it is super tender inside. It's served on a bed of quinoa and sliced super thin veggies. It's beyond delicious. The last time I had octopus this good was in Santorini, Greece, where it was served on a bed of local feva bean paste. Definitely do not forget to order this. Finally, Cod dish - the Cod is slightly salted and there are three large pieces which is more than an entree size. The fish is very tender and oily, and very fresh. A stand out. It's within 2 minute walk from the hotel AC Marriott, and it's a pleasant dining experience. Good food. Excellent service.
