Was recommended this location by a local Argentinian. He said this is where the actual Argentinians go to eat. And he was right, I was the only out of town-er in the place lol. Unless you know exactly what you want, and you can eat a ton, I would recommend going with the sample platter option. You get a ton of food, so don't worry, it's more than just a sample. You can always sample more. First of all, don't make the same mistake that I did. Do not get filled up on the bread or anything that they bring. You don't have to finish it all. Wait for the meats at the end. I can't go on to tell you which meat is the best, they were all phenomenal. It's going to be a choice of personal preference. We decided to get a nice bottle of wine, which was called Saint Felicien. It was a delicious small bag that paired beautifully with the meats. The ambience is incredible here. So lively, I could imagine what it would look like during a soccer game. People were all super friendly, and it just has a great vibe to it. The kind of food hall seems that you see in the movies where everyone's having a blast and talking to their family and laughing all about well enjoying great food. If you are going to Buenos Aires, this is a must see. Or should I say must eat lol it's gonna be one of my top recommendations to anyone that goes to Argentina. Food was good, Family style atmosphere, Big place inside. I would have liked to have tried their AYCE Meats, But the whole table has to have the same. I saw another table that had it. Just when you cross the patio you walk into a large space full of smells that just make you want to grab something to eat! For an appetizer don't spare the provalenta, it's amazing! I'll absolutely recommend the milanesa, meat of course! you can choose from various toppings. Take into consideration that the portions are very large so you can either share it with someone or just pack it to go. For dessert, we had the "budin de pan" its very rich and flavorous. This is known as "the people's parilla." It's definitely significantly cheaper than Don Julio and Cabrera. We got the works--appetizers, a bottle of wine, sparkling water, two steaks, and three desserts, and it was about one third of what we paid for the same meal at Cabrera. While it wasn't the same quality as the other two, it was definitely not remotely as a big step down in food quality as the price. If you want the true parilla experience with quality food at a decent price, this is the place to go. I'm told if you go after a soccer game, the crowds are enormous since it's right by the stadium, but we went in the middle of the day with no games on and walked right in. It's quite a cab ride from the tourist area of CABA, but it's worth it. The portions are astonishingly large. We were told the milanesa serves six. I had a single serving and that was so big that it would have been labeled as a serving for two in the U.S. Highly recommend. read more
