It feels so good to get a blast of cool air on your head and face when you enter. The owners are from the state of Colima I believe, which has a coastline and beautiful mountain ranges inland. This might just explain the vast choices on the menu that include regional home style Mexican and seafood options as well. I've yet to try the seafood since we normally go to Brenda's on the malecón. Go anytime of day or night for a good meal, but believe me when I say that breakfast is something special. They have a cute little outdoor seating area big enough for family and friends to gather with pets and drink Cheladas, eat great food and live well. Sure, you can eat inside, but why when all of the action is outside. Talk to strangers as they pass by, chat with the folks at the table next to you, or spend your extra time conversing with the fabulous staff. Honestly, I love Chumpo's and can't wait to return once this whole COVID thing is gone.
