I loved the place from the moment I walked in and I went back to it every day for the remainder of my visit to Rome. Their paninis were AMAZING... ingredients fresh and the staff super-friendly. This tiny, but cozy place offers a couple of bar-stools, stand-as-you-eat counters, free Wi-Fi and options to charge your mobile devices while you eat. The place is located on the western side of street, which offers a cool break with refreshing afternoon snack, or dinner. I will go back to Da Manolo again as soon as I land in Rome just to have every thing else from their menu. I wish they delievered (to NYC :-)

I have a love story with New York, I mean who doesn't, but for me it's kind of special because the…read morefirst time I went there I was only a kid with my family on vacation, and the last time I was there I got engaged to my now husband, so it is a pretty special city for me. The fact that this place reminded me of New York just makes me like it more! From the décor that is straightforward "hipster" to the designs adorning the tables and walls. The brunch is not bad and for a really reasonable price you get coffee, orange juice, two dishes of your choice and dessert, plenty of food! I got the club sandwich, which wasn't bad , it is small so you have room for your next dish. And the eggs Benedict, that where fine, they had real american style bacon on them which I appreciate since it's really hard to find here. And for dessert the cheese cake that was good. The waitress was very nice and explained to us the menu and what our brunch included. My husband felt like having a burger but they don't serve them for brunch , so we asked the waitress and she said she could do it for us, so he got a bacon cheeseburger! That's good customer service.

The owner has a small vineyard outside of the city - definitely recommend ordering some of his wine and whatever else the staff suggests. Located in a lovely neighborhood, this seems to be a popular spot and I'd love to stay in the area on the next trip - but worth the visit even if you aren't based here.
