Once you walk in you place your order a self order kiosk and take a seat as you wait for your food. I ordered a Patacon Especial which is Shredded chicken, fresh tomatoes, avocado, coleslaw and cheese on green plantains crostini and added a side of spicy salsa. The filling was savory not overtly salty or over sauced. The green plantains were perfectly fried to a crisp. Service was friendly and inviting. Authentically Venezuelan. The arepas were absolutely . I tried the Reina Pepiada and the Sifrina, and both were incredible--fresh, flavorful, and packed generously. You can tell everything is made with care, and the food came out hot and fresh. What really stood out though was the hospitality. It's a family-owned spot, and Fabrizio (the son) was extremely kind, respectful, and welcoming. That kind of service makes a big difference. Simple place, real food, great people. The food variety is like heaven for a Venezuelan. They have everything you want...cachapas and arepas of all kinds. The only thing they were missing was natilla :( But all in all great service from a hardworking Italian-Venezuelan family who have been living in Rome for 20+ years. This place is worth visiting as a wandering tourist or as a hungry local. Just steps away from the Vatican Museum entrance, the place is in a great location. No bathroom is available but they have hand sanitizer. You will spend about €15/person which is not bad considering Rome prices. Definitely recommend! read more

We ate here twice while staying in Rome. If you search them on google, they have close to 300 reviews with 4.8 stars. Super friendly service! Everyone here are so nice and welcoming as soon as you walk in. It's a small space but you'll be able to sit down and dine if you want or you can always carry out your food to take it back to your place and eat. Arepas and empanadas are so yummy here. Made to order so it's fresh but it'll take a bit of time to be served after you order. We tried chicken, beef and vegetarian arepas. I personally enjoyed the chicken the best. We also tried chicken, beef and beans & cheese empanadas. I really liked the beans & cheese and my husband liked the beef. Both arepas and empanadas outside layer is crispy crunchy delicious! Hey. Do your celiac self a favor and eat here. They use peanut oil to fry in as of when I posted this review. My husband and I loved this place so much. We don't have Venezuelan food where we live and that is such a shame. The staff is very kind and it was great to use our Spanish! They do not have a ton of seating so if you're in a large group, it might be better for to grab it to go. But honestly, so delicious. read more

This gem is 100% gluten free, my Celiac kiddo loved it! We all loved it! Our favorite was the Tostones 2.0 with meat and the chicken empanadas and the beef empanadas too. They make it fresh, while you wait. Friendly family runs it. Small place, you sit at counter tops, they have air conditioning and wifi. We took it to go and they know how to package it to stay warm.
