We ordered bacon wrapped dates, octopus salad, and a shrimp dish from the tapas menu. All were outstanding. We also ordered a bottle of rose and fish & seafood paella. Fish & seafood were cooked pretty well but the rice was a bit soft for my liking and lacked flavor. However, the paella portion size could easily serve 4. They brought out bread with what I think was an herby aioli, very yummy. The chorizo was nicely cooked in a wine sauce. We ordered the potatoes expecting something more like patatas bravas. Instead we got a small plate of baby baked potatoes along with a few sauces. If you like spicy sauce, it was tomato based and so flavorful. Everything else was fine. Not amazing or innovative but definitely solid. The service was awesome. The server spoke very little english, but made up for it with energy and personality. He would not stop bringing the delicious bread and aioli though I begged him not to. He had a few nice recommendations which we were happy to oblige. At the end he sweetly got my pregnant wife an alcohol free nightcap to accompany mine, on the house. A delightful evening.
