We went there very late as this place closed down at around 19.00 i think or when it get's dark. During the day a lot of people are there, once we seen a group of men playing guitar and singing. There are many spanish from the surrounding it seems. Although we came late and kitchen was basically closed we got food of what was left. Pulpo and tuna. Both was really excellent. I am not a huge fan of fish, but this food was great! It came very fast as they obviously prepare it for a lot of people and just distribute it over the day, and the price was great.

We arrived mid afternoon and it was such a treat to sit in the beautifully and tastefully decorated dining room amid white linen cloths and stunning sea views - and be treated to such great food and service! The starters were served with style and aplomb - mushroom soup poured from on high into a bowl with slices of delicious aubergines, and a vegan option of seitan and quinoa - the dish arrived covered and was opened with flourish among a great display of steam- both starters were excellent. Our waiter was so pleasant and just the 'right amount' of attentive. The main courses of 'surf and turf' and cod with reduced wine sauce and Tenerife potatoes were delicious and left room for our home made desserts and espressos. It's probably my gf's favorite place to get meat on the whole island, which is impressive because, well it's Spain. It was kind of disappointing how huge this thing was. Just from the moment she put it down i KNEW i was going to have problems finishing it. And i hadn't taken a bite yet! It has manchego cheese, as well as Jamon Iberica, for added deliciousness. It's so big and juicy that you absolutely need a knife and fork to consume it. Another fact I found rather saddening! It's probably enough burger for 2 people. It's terrific though. A lot to take in, but terrific. Waiters come out frequently to call in the guests. Food is fresh, very tasty, portions are HUGE and reasonably priced - we paid 33.5 euros for 3 adults and 2 kids (14 & 10) and we were stuffed. We had ribs and potatoes (one plate for 2 people), goat stew with fries, some sort of grilled pork with potatoes and salad, 2 buns, cilantro (mint?) sauce, 2 teas and a quart of water - yes, like everywhere in Tenerife, you have to pay for water. Restrooms were free, though. The waitress was prompt and friendly. The owner (the chef) was walking through the restaurant, greeting guests and asking whether they are enjoying the food. We would definitely come again and recommend it to friends. The restaurant is atop a steep hill. The street is very narrow, the place is popular, drivers impatient and parking (like everywhere on Tenerife) sucks. The restaurant hires several men who hand out the restaurant brochures with daily specials, direct traffic on the street and help you park. Our rental VW struggled driving up the hill, so we got out and pushed it. The parking attendant was pushing, too, and actually parked it for us. Parking is free, but extremely tight.
