Great food. Brings a nice variety to south Austin. All the chicharrón is cooked to perfection.

Service was great, and most importantly, communication was constant and timely. Will definitely call on them again when needed. Highly recommend Ambit Express!

What's interesting, is that they confirmed a phone interview with me for 1:45pm on Tuesday for my interview. They never called, never responded to my emails about the call, and haven't answered on ANY available extension on their office number numerous times. I had to share personal information on my application, so now I am a bit concerned if they are even a real company or not. Based off of their "policy", there would be some hefty deductions for their tardiness, no-show, and inability to communicate. Pretty hypocritical if you ask me. Needless to say I have zero desire to interview anymore and will be sharing my experience on all job posting websites. If this is how you treat potential employees, I can't imagine how you treat customers or vendors.

The only reason I am now writing a review, is because my point of contact whom I made the sale…read morewith, that was VERY pushy during the sales process, is now unresponsive as I've expressed my concerns... the below is my note sent over a week ago: Just wanted to provide some feedback as the bartending service was a bit of a let down for my bachelorette party. I would also like to preface that the majority of my guests used to work in the event staffing industry where we would hire individuals for events as such, and I go as far back as working these types of events, before being on the agency side and fully understand the type of personality it takes to engage in a successful event. When the party helper arrived she insisted on getting a credit card from my sister to go and get additional alcohol, mixers and ice when we already had everything on hand. So she left immediately and did not provide my sister a receipt for the $250 purchase and for all I know she got herself dinner and a full gas tank. Not to mention, I had already made a $300 purchase on provisions with the additional cost of having her onsite. She did not come with a bar kit, but I had traveled with one from home because I had concerns she wouldn't. Her drink knowledge was your basic spirit mixed with soda, not much for mules or craft cocktails I was prepared for...but that was fine. We had various seltzers in the fridge and instead of her grabbing them for my guests, she would just point to the fridge. During the time of the event she had nothing to write her venmo on for tips or a tip jar, so we figured that out for her. Maybe an hour into the event of her being there, she has told multiple guests of mine that she hadn't received a lot of tips and they were coming up to me with that concern. To be quite frank, I was watching most people make their own cocktails and she didn't engage or really even make a presence for herself that she was there, so I don't blame people for not tipping. I also had planned on squaring up at the end of the event. You NEVER should have those conversations with guests and I was truly so disappointed. Not to mention she had asked if she could have some of the food too...so of course we gave her some but ultimately unprofessional, house party or not. Was she nice and sweet, sure, but I think she would be better suited at an event where being engaged is not required and doing the bare minimum is status quo. And at the end of the day not what I had hoped to deal with at my bachelorette party with an additional expense taxed on that we ended up leaving behind because it was never used.

They made smart recommendations for staff based on the number of guests and we had just the right amount of help. The helpers were extremely professional, showed up on time, and even helped clean up when the guests left. They made sure everything went smoothly and we were able to enjoy our own event. Would definitely use again!
