I played at El Prado Golf Course yesterday (Sunday), and honestly, it was one of the most frustrating golf experiences I've had. Of course weekends are busy. I get that. But I've played at plenty of other courses where, if it's crowded, they'll pair up groups of two to keep things moving. That's why I found it odd that the group that was originally behind us (circled in red) was just two people, and the couple behind them was another group of two. Why weren't they paired up? Instead, the group in red complained that we were playing too slow, even though we were waiting on the group ahead of us (circled in purple), and that group was waiting on another group ahead of them. We explained this to the cart guy who came out, but he still told us to let them pass. We were keeping pace with the flow of the course and following proper golf etiquette, yet we were forced to move aside. And guess what? Now they're waiting too! The course was just that busy. So now I'm stuck behind the same original group along with the people we had to let pass us. That only made the situation more irritating. What really set me off was when we brought this up at the office. We paid $212 for our tee time and were met with complete unprofessionalism. The staff said they'd "look into it," but how? Are there cameras on the course? I told them I have photos and even the name of the cart guy who spoke to us, but they told us to call in tomorrow. If they're doing this to us, it makes me wonder who else they've done this to. El Prado needs serious improvement in how they manage weekend traffic and treat paying customers. With so many better-run courses in the area, this place just isn't worth the money or frustration. Do better.

Beautiful weather to play at El Prado Chino Creek. See the snow on the mountain in Jan.

Butterfield is flatter and easier, Chino Creek is more challenging, though neither is killingly difficult.

Okky has been wonderful with having patience and thoughtfulness when helping us learn the correct way of playing golf. We cannot wait for more lessons and to learn on the courses! Thank you Okky

My first lesson with Okky was in September 2024 - there were quite a few changes (not drastic) but fundamental changes needed. The first lesson tremendously helped me and at the same time trying to get used to the change. At times, it seems that you wanted to revert to the way you used to - but I pulled that temptation away and remind myself to be patient with this change and to give it a chance. In May 2025, I went for my 2nd lesson - he continued to reinforced the initial lesson that I had. Then in January 2026, I went for my 3rd lesson to improve my Driving of the ball. We began with Iron shots practice, he reinforced the same lesson I had before. He added few more concepts that I continued to implement during practice. Seems that 3rd lesson is a charm and with a little patience applying these concepts seems to get somewhat easier! With these 3 lessons it paid off! I'd like to share that Last Monday 03-02, I broke 80 at Goosecreek Golf Course. Thank You Okky for your time and drills/concepts you had ingrained in me and making me understand the mechanics. I strongly recommend Okky for your golf instruction needs.

You know the guy, the one that comes to the course with a different identity every time trying anything from small Grandpa half swings to Harley Grippin and throttling the driver as hard as he can, to Texas wedging from 60 yards off in the fairway .... That guy. Then after losing like seven balls at Canyon crest and shooting in the upper 90s again, I finally humbled myself and realized I might need a coach In my business life- coaching had paid for itself many times over and I finally widened up and thought "why not golf too" Maybe you relate, I'd been trying to bake a cake with a million different recipes on YouTube and I knew that if I was humble enough to go and copy someone else's playbook from top to bottom just maybe I might stand a chance When I met Jay, I could tell right away, this guy knows his stuff and he spoke my language, "biomechanical efficiency", "anatomical limits", "isometric tension", and on and on You see I'm a skeptic and I'm pretty critical by nature and I challenge everything, but anything I threw at Jay he had a response for, and not only that he was able to redirect me and tell me where I'm not even asking the right questions I must admit I'm a difficult person to work with. I'm an eight on the Enneagram (a challenger), and not only is Jay gifted in his golf system, but also in his soft skills, such as being able to handle challenging people. He knew when to step on the gas and push me and he knew when I just needed a nice cold Gatorade cause I was about to explode Today I finally broke 80. He told me I would within 6 months of his coaching... and we made it Cheers Jay, to a true coach. Someone who answered my late evening and weekend texts, kept me on the tracks, kept it simple when i needed simple, and we had a few laughs along the way.

There's no guessing, no gimmicks, and no "feel-only" advice that leaves you confused the next time something goes wrong. After my lessons, I walked away not only hitting the ball better, but actually owning my swing. Jay helped me understand why I miss, how to diagnose issues on my own, and--most importantly--exactly what to do to fix them. That confidence is a game-changer. What really stands out is how they make golf fun again. Instead of chasing tips, I now have the B.E.S.T. framework that makes improvement logical and repeatable. The before-and-after difference after a single lesson was eye-opening, and it's only reinforced that this is the right way to learn the game. If you're serious about improving and want instruction that actually makes sense, Golf Code 360 is on another level.
