The installation looked great, and they cleaned everything up before they left. I had to catch a flight the next day, so I didn't get a chance to inspect every room before leaving, but from what I saw, everything looked excellent. When you speak to them whenever that is they assure you that everything will be handled. I wouldn't advise to use them. They are doing too many jobs at once so smaller jobs get the least amount of attention and professionalism.

Buyer Beware! I think this company is shady. they wouldn't come out for an estimate in advance &…read morethey wouldn't accept any form of payment outside of cash apps. Don't fall for it. When my flooring installer told me the price their tile removal service would charge to remove tile, I figured I could find a reputable business who might charge less but do an equally good job. After talking with the owner, Renan Russo & asking a lot of questions prior & then seeing their work on Instagram, I knew the floors would be smooth when finished. So I moved forward with having their crew come out to removal my tile. Honestly the bad experience I had started from the poor measuring they did with an inaccurate laser measure which measured more than my installers had measure. Next they covered my stove with plastic . The first time I asked why they covered it versus pulling it out to get the tile from under it, the guy I asked then looked under it & realized it had tile under it. The other guy told me they had tried to pull it out but it was stuck & they weren't able to pull it out. I told them they had to pull it out & that I could bring in people to help if that would help, that's when he said we'll "try" it again. Next thing I know they are pulling the plastic off of everything & had not yet pulled the stove out or even tried to remove the tile behind it. So I asked them yet again to pull it out. They didn't put any plastic back up (it seemed like they were in a hurry to get home). They finally did a super quick removal, so fast I couldn't see under it. I also noticed that my floors had quite a bit of thinset left on them (which they shouldn't) & I asked Thiago about it & if the installers would be able to install over this & he assured me they would. Then he told me it wouldn't come up because it was old tile. The tile came up very easily because it was so old & really cracked. When I reached out to the owner before paying to discuss all this all he did was defend his crew. (I forgot to mention the shoddy removal job) he offered no help & no solutions & took no accountability. A few days later (weekend in between) my installers saw pictures of this work & told me that their team will have to rework most of this because it was so poorly removed. I even asked a third party who does his own installation & tile removal for his business & he agreed that the work was poorly done & that my new LVP can't be out down in a floor like that. I ended up having to pay my installer $609 extra to pay have them make it smooth to get the job done. Again I reached out to Renan Russo who offered no solutions & no refund of any type. He did however tell me I being ripped off by my installers, which was a lie. This was an expensive lesson I learned but I hope it saves you from using this company for your tile Removal. Don't let their Instagram pictures fool you that's not at all what my floors looked like. He didn't even apologize or take any kind of accountability or responsibility for the job they did.

We agreed to a 5:00 PM or after start time; however, by 6:30 PM, no one had arrived or contacted us. When we tried to call the office, the phone went unanswered and the voicemail was not set up. It wasn't until 7:30 PM--two and a half hours late--that we were finally informed the technician was over 100 miles away and wouldn't be coming at all. We explained our urgent "time crunch," as we had our realtor and her photographers and videographers scheduled for the following morning to list the home. While a refund was issued, it doesn't compensate for the lost time or the logistical headache. We sat in an empty house for hours for a service that was never going to happen. We also now have to waste even more hours finding a new company and driving back to the house to oversee a job that should have been finished days ago. To date, no manager has reached out to apologize. The refund is a bare minimum; the lack of professionalism and communication was deeply disappointing.

However when he came he was professional, worked fast, easy to communicate with, and mostly I trusted him since he delivered good work so I gave him the remodel job instead. We did a half bathroom remodel from baseboards, flooring, level setting tiles, vanity, paint, mirror, fixtures, drywall, etc. Unlike a lot of traditional Orlando handy folks I've worked with, the best thing about Max is his responsiveness. He gets things done, he tells you his plan, updates you on the progress and tells you like it is. Some folks you hire, you'll have no idea what's going on and especially for someone who isn't local it's critical to see and trust what's going on. Max also gave a very reasonable price even from several other quotes I got so I would 100% highly recommend Handy Guys and would definitely be hiring from him again for other jobs!

I was in the market for a kitchen, master bath, and floor remodel in my home. I have lots of…read morefriends in construction, but I was wise enough to know better than to hire "friends" to do the job. I am extremely picky and OCD when it comes to detail and cleaning. I used Better Business Bureau to find local remodeling companies. I did this because I trust the BBB and I wanted a company which I would not pay if the job was not completed in accordance with the contract and my expectations; also, another reason to not hire a "friend." I called several companies and among all my projects, I had 11 quotes. I did not choose the cheapest. I chose the company that was the most responsive and seemed eager to do my work. I am glad I did. I choose Tile Metrics, located in Oviedo. I went to the shop and met with staff. My wife and I were able to choose all our products from this location. The store seems small and quite busy. Don't let that fool you. They have so much product and ideas to offer. Now to the important part. From beginning to end, the company stayed in contact with me. They emailed and sometimes called me almost daily to coordinate work, projects, and keep me informed. This was exactly what I wanted. They are also a one-stop shop in that they do almost all the work themselves. No separate contractors to deal with, just one single point of contact. Most of the work was done by an in-house crew, which if you do not know, is very important. The worker men that came to my house were clean cut, polite, professional, and did top notch work. Can you imagine having a remodel with almost no complaints? All you hear are horror stories about remodeling your home. Tile Metrics took care of everything. They did all the flooring in my house, including removing old tile and hardwood floors (dustless), new kitchen quartz countertops and back splash. Moved plumbing and electrical. Installed new toilets in 2 bathrooms. And a complete master bath remodel with everything new. The work was done quickly without delay. Once they started, they stayed on my project until it was done. For the parts of the projects they did not do in-house, the subs were equally good. As for price, they were fair and probably in the middle to lower end of all my quotes. I have no complaints, which is rare of me. I will be hiring Tile Metrics again in the future to complete more projects at my home, as soon as I save up more money.

Tile Metric did not use a moisture barrier which was clearly stated on the box the flooring came in. They flat out refuse to admit to their mistake and fix the issue. They hauled away all the very old carpet and debris. (The condo doesn't allow use of their dumpster or onsite dumpster.) They severely damaged…read morethe majority of our walls when taking off the baseboard, in addition to halfway up many of our walls. They claimed it was difficult to remove the engineered hardwoods, but then never gave us any credit or repairs for all the damage. They left an area in our home, incomplete with putting the baseboards back in in despite charging us for these baseboards and they never came back to finish, so we will need to get somebody else to come into our home to finish the paid for baseboards. The tile grout work and some areas were not installed well. It's uneven and we've been dealing with lots of grout haze throughout the whole project with no remedies to get it off. The team of people that were installing the tile seemed friendly, but none of them spoke English and communication was a challenge. Owner won't respond to my email or phone call regarding the completion. Very disappointing when you've paid 28k to install tile and replace baseboard. Now we need to pay to repair and paint our space that they were in, In addition to finding a way to get the rest of the tile, grout cleaned up off of the new tile floors. There's lots of floor companies out there, and I wish we would've chosen a different one in Naples.
