Bad experience with hot foods here. 2 items that I bought last couple times, fried chicken and Chicharron were very disappointing. First time I let it go and thought I was overthinking but then I went back to get the same things again on fried chicken and chicharron. They were nasty, I knew right away that I was eating the plastics, left over foods. Chicken and Chicharron were sticky, dry, hard like a rock!!! I am no kidding! I like to eat and make food I know if foods are left over to sell. PLEASE NOTE! Pasties and cookies are below average, no taste at all and possibly left over as well. Worst customer service. Made a purchase and bought a couple of canned items. One of the items wasn't in the bags when I was putting things away. I called the store and they said WE NEED TO CHECK THE CAMERAS for a $1.89 item AND I need to wait until 24hrs for them to check and make sure that I in fact didn't get one of the cans I purchased. So as of today, no I wasn't going to be able to get the item they charged me for but never got. read more

Drove about a half hour to get here. Worth the drive. By far the best Hispanic Market in the area. They have fresh guacamole and salsas made in house. The meat counter was fully stocked and MUCH better priced then area markets for marinated meats. The Butcher was friendly and attentive. The market was well stocked and produce was fresh. Nice little needed Mexican grocery store in an area where there's not a lot to choose from. The hubby and I make our way this way from Menifee for a few can goods and TACOS & PUPUSAS they make near the bakery area. Convenient not so great prices but great options to choose from. read more

The man at the meat section deserves all the 5 stars. He was courteous, fast, efficient and friendly! Too bad I didn't catch his name but I do recall that he has silver on his teeth because he was giving service with a big smile. Everything was fine and dandy until I was at the register. I don't think that the young cashier is aware of how awful her customer skills are. Either that or she doesn't have any. From my observation and my experience there as a one time and probably only time customer, I can just simply list everything she did or didn't do but the question is who or where is management to train and correct her customer service behavior? There was an older gentleman with beard and mustache at the other register ringing people up but I'm guessing that he is not the manager or supervisor otherwise why would he allow such bad service to be given from right under his nose? Whether the cashier was having a bad day or not, it shouldn't affect her character or her service and we as the customers should not have to put up with any of that because in exchange, we are giving you our hard earned money for goods so that you can sustain a job and/or your business. read more

I'm giving this store two stars due to their non concern for service animals. I am a disabled woman and entered the store with my ESA/Service animal ( which was identified by her vest) and when I walked in the cashier was fine but a manager told me I had to carry my dog. First of all no, I am a disabled person and I'm supposed to CARRY my 15 lb animal. Wow makes no sense right? 2nd I'm sure glad I don't have a German Shepard or Rottweiler!! 3rd of all learn the laws of support animals! read more

Stopped by here while in Lake Elsinore. What a great find! We're we're hungry and ordered delicious steak tacos. They make the tortillas in house. I highly recommend them. We also bought some fruits and veggies for our trip. The produce section is fresh and cheap. Wish we lived closer! read more

Manager at this place is a jerk. I wanted to get one more box of the talapia because it was on special. And I asked for a rain check because there wasn't anymore, and he denied it. They have done the rain check before but this jerk of a manager only decides when ever he is in a good mood to do it. Its obvious that their customer service is crap. Visiting family yesterday and wanted to make shrimp cocktail, I needed everything and instead of driving to the next large Mexican market I opted to support this local market (I used to shop there in the 80's, when visiting my in laws). I wasn't to pleased with most of the produce, they only had one shrimp in the case to choose from and I bought two pounds. The man at meat counter was super nice, the cashier not so much. When making my cocktail, the cucumbers were old and dry on the inside, the red onion was soft on the inside and my shrimp was very mushy and slimy. Not taking a chance on the shrimp, I tossed it and ended up going to the other Mexican market. The $50+ I spent at this market was simply a donation! Pallets of water sitting outside with 110 degrees! You walk in to see rotten produce I wouldn't feed my goats with this veggies and fruits, yeah they might be cheap in price and cheap in quality! I was working in the area today so I thought I would get lunch. I tried to order a torta but was told they don't have the bread for it. Fail. They bake bread here. So I ordered a burrito. Since it was Taco Tuesday I just had to try two pastor tacos. The guy rings me up for an extra dollar instead of the $5.99 for the burrito. He charged me for a combo that was $6.99. I'll chalk that up to incompetence. After I pay it I asked for some salsa, he told me rudely that there was sauce on my burrito. That's not what I asked him. He was rude. So I left. My wife went here and forgot to get the $20 she was supposed to get for "cash over." The person she called back and spoke to about the situation spoke little English and basically lied to her. Then the manager did the same thing. I plan to stop and speak to him when I'm in the area. He was rude and unprofessional, not to mention dishonest about who worked there. Great market!! Fresh bread and fruit I know some white people who don't like shopping here because they question the prices "how can it be that cheap? There must be something wrong with it" but its great! The employees are all super duper friendly. Everyone needs to check this place out ASAP! Some of the freshest produce and meats in the area. I bought some vegetable and unlike other places they didn't go bad within a few days and they were so clean. While washing them they weren't filled with dirt they were super clean and almost ready to eat! The meat is on a whole other level! I hate when you go somewhere and buy meat that looks good but then has a weird smell and you are iffy about cooking it but not over here! The meat was so fresh and cleaned nicely with no smell! I haven't been inside myself but my dad brings home food usually rice beans and chicken . The last time he brought it home which was yesterday, the rice was very dry and crunchy like it was sitting out for awhile. The container of beans weren't closed properly and spilled everywhere on his way home. Another time he brought a container of beans, it had pieces of clear plastic in it like films of plastic in almost every bite I found a film of small plastic. Very unprofessional and high prices. I skipped most things on my list due to the prices and settled for some low quality bread that I really needed. My main complaint is their unprofessional dealings. I requested cash back and didn't realize until that night when I needed the money that they hadn't given it to me. I called the next day and was told to call on Friday because managers are only there Fridays. I found this hard to believe but called Friday. I was then scolded for waiting so long to call. To make a long story short, I eventually was given the "manager" after asking for him 3 times. He then tried to lie to me saying he didn't have an employee by the name of the one who told me to call back. Guess he didn't realize the female had already told me they did.
