We live down the street from Regalado Market and my husband wanted to get some bolio bread for tortas. After grabbing some items for our dinner we decided to shared a carne asada frie and cucumber lime agua fresca. I loved the carne asada fries. It reminded me of something I would make at home. I definitely was not expecting fresh cut papas . Everything is quality ingredients nothing prebagged. I refuse to go anywhere else when we want authentic Mexican food. Takeout or dine in. Noticed a market that I hadn't seen since the last time I was out this way. Thought it was called Egalado becuase their sign sucks, haha. I wanted to bring some fresh tortillas home since I had some chorizo back at home and wanted to make burritos for breakfast. Nope, just prepackaged stuff and I've never had good experiences with prepackaged. I can't believe they don't make and sell their own tortillas. I did spy their hot food counter when I walked in so I wanted to pick up a burrito before leaving empty handed. Decided on the Asada and it was pretty good. They also have a salsa bar with just about anything you'll need for your food like hot carrots. Grand opening weekend, just months after opening. Another stop in and a paruse of all the isles, carnisaria, and kitchen I must report improvements in all areas. This is a family run operation and the big difference today then from my visits in the first two weeks is that everyone is smiling. This tells me things are better under the surface as well. Big improvement in the kitchen with a big menu, it not only smells great but every table was full, with several waiting. It's not the biggest Mexican grocery but it might be the best. Visited recently and was hoping for a one-stop grocery for all our Mexican food needs since Cardenas is a bit far to travel to. One thing this market lacks that any good Mexican market should have is a tortilleria. They have pre-packaged tortillas from other vendors and the choices are not good. I picked up some tortilla de harina and they were crumbly after warming and tore when folded. The choice of produce is lacking and overall selection of products is poor. They do serve hot food which is why this place earns two stars from me. We got a carnitas burrito and it was pretty good and they also have a salsa bar for your hot food. We never ... heard of this new little market here in Menifee until my husband saw it today on INSTAGRAM. We jumped in our car and drove out to eat here. The asada burrito and the lengua burrito were big and tasty. They even have Menudo on the weekends. I was looking to try the enchiladas but they only have cheese enchiladas. My husband wanted a beer with his burrito but they don't have beer yet? They have about five tables and chairs to enjoy your meal, this is what brought me into the market/ restaurant. We can't wait to try their tacos ect. and everything else on the menu. The market has grocery items with yummy cookies, FLAN ect. We're so glad they have a meat market and we don't need to leave town to find our beef cheek and lengua. They even had a Tomahawk steak here. Great place close to home! I noticed the signs for this new market with a small restaurant next to me. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed is that it was very cleaned and organized. Restaurant to the right and market to the left. Items in the market were easy to find. My husband and I ate at the restaurant. We ordered a carnitas taco and a carne taco with beans and rice and chips and salsa. The salsa bar was a little hard to find, but the lady told me where it was. Several great options at the salsa bar. I loved the mild green with onion and cilantro. When our order was done, the nice lady called my name. I didn't expect homemade corn tortillas, mmmmm! Both tacos were so good with the salsa and homemade tortillas. The beans were as good as my grandma's. The rice was good too. We felt satisfied, but not bloaded full. Went in for a breakfast burrito. It was Saturday morning and was a little busy. So I understood there would be a wait. All I ordered was a breakfast burrito with no beans, and a medium side of refried beans. As I waited I looked around the store. Came back to wait for my burrito. I'm patient but I started to noticed people who came after me were getting their food. By this time, 45 minutes had passed. After waiting in line and speaking with them. They looked for food, nowhere to be found. So they made the food, my gripe was is this, I ordered the burrito with no beans. It's had beans on it. The eggs were severely overcooked and burnt, it said it was potatoes which were fries that were soaked in grease . There was no taking responsibility for the error, no apology, no sense of urgency to get it made when I brought the mistake to their attention. People's time is valuable. Accidents happen. Taking ownership and apologizing goes a long way in business. read more

Tried it for the first time, had the carnitas and pastor tacos. They were okay, nothing spectacular but not bad at all. The chicharron was really good, crunchy, meaty with good flavor. The service was great, helped us soon as we walked up to the counter. Overall the store was clean and well stocked. I'll definitely be going back for more chicharron. Their salsas are very good, flavor and spice level is on point. I like the self serve taco condiments station, the pickled carrots were good and crunchy. read more

First time visiting this market/restaurant. They had only four tables to sit at if you wanted to order something from the hot food counter. Very clean place but it's really mostly a Latino market. We ordered the combo plate that included three street tacos, rice and beans. The food was pretty descent and hot. Will I go back? Probably not because it's just not my vibe. Running errands today and saw this location and popped in for a cold soft drink. What a surprise. This family has taken old tenant area within this building and totally remodeled it. As you enter the building to the left, they have a standard community market. A full meat counter with the butcher and basic grocery needs along with fresh Mexican sweet breads. To the other side, they have opened a full kitchen and food items are displayed buffet style. The smell was unbelievably good. A variety of fresh cooked Mexican food items, including a chicken, pork, beef, and of course rice and beans. They explained that they will be having a grand opening soon and we're still in the set up, but I can't wait until we can enjoy some of the delicious looking food items that I saw. They do have table seating for approximately 15 to 16 persons and are happy to have those buying lunch or dinner on a Takeaway basis. And to be noted, this place was spotlessly clean and well organized. This is another chance for us in the Menifee area just to support a small family business instead of the large chains, which never seemed to appreciate us or our business. The carne asada fries are really good i've gotten them at least 6 times in total that's how promising they were for me but the last two times they had less toppings and didn't have guacamole like they always did before so that was disappointing. The tacos are okay they could use more flavor but the salsa makes up for that. read more

I finally was able to come here. There is plenty of parking and it is next to a liquor store. I have never been to this side of Menifee I wouldn't come here when it's dark. This is a small market with just the essentials, the produce is over priced just like everything else. The butcher counter is pretty big. They make the sweet bread on site, it's a small selection. There is also a restaurant but only about 4 tables, I didn't it get a chance to see what hot food they offer. I did notice as I was checking out that they have ice cream by the scoop. This place has only been opened for about 6 months or so as they still have some empty shelves. The sweet bread was ok I am eating some now !!! read more

Since we've been reading some many good things about this business ,My husband and I went today , and yes it's very very clean cute little market we got some Mexican bread, some cookies and what caught my eye was some Mexican fruit candy and I asked the young lady at the register how fresh was the candy and she said OH VERY FRESH well they were so hard our knife almost broke trying to cut them Then mu husband said he was craving a burrito or maybe some tacos so he asked the lady what of meat was in display trays and she started describing to him everything in Spanish so my husband that doesn't speak Spanish was like WTFDSS thank God I know Spanish so I could translate So if you plan on going bring someone that can speak Spanish and don't buy the fruit candy Other than that everything is OK Sorry for the 3 stars but the lady at the kitchen and the hard candy killed it read more

Finally got a chance to stop in and check out the new market. I was impressed very clean, good variety of inventory, staff was friendly, welcoming, and had great communication. I got some pan dulce every item was yummy and fresh even a few days later they were still pretty fresh. I got the carnitas burrito for dinner and it did not disappoint the portion of was big and so was the flavor you can totally taste the love that whoever cooks is putting into it. My husband and I tried this place today for lunch and I have to say it was not good at all. I got a carnitas taco, birria and the meats were dry and not flavorful. My tortilla was cold and it fell apart even before I could pick it up. My husband got three chicken tacos and his were dry with no flavor as well. This will be our only time trying this place. The food is delicious! The service is great too! They sell Authentic Mexican food- estilo Michoacán!! My family and I order once a week. We have ordered tortas, burritos, tacos, quesabirria tacos, & chile rellenos so far, and they are all delicious. We keep coming back every week to try a new food item off their menu. The meats are well marinated- Carne asada, birria, and Al pastor are our favorite meats. Las aguas frescas are refreshing and not too sweet. I find the prices to be reasonable for the quality. I decided to try tacos today, they did not have shredded beef so I ordered asada. I specifically asked for crispy, twice, and for here. They said they can do it. I received two soft tacos to go. Literally love there food down but this is the THIRD time that I come to the store to go buy something mind u it is suppose to close at 8pm and I show up at 730 on a Saturday and told me that they close early on weekends and I was like okay then I can't get mad at that then. I went again another time we come in at 7:15 and they were closed again with no explanation.
