Most likely one of the best Restaurant in Malaga. We went around 2.30 pm without a reservation, the place was full, as well as the bar area, we manage to get a table within 20 minutes. Very pretty restaurant with glass walls all around, which may contribute to the quite noisy place.
Service was friendly and acurate, the waiter telling us all the specials.
For starter we had the Ensalallida Rusa(potatoes and tuna salad) one of their specialties with a delicious home made mayonnaise. Next came the Chopitos, mini looking squid in their own ink, I could have licked my fingers, such good olive oil!
The Queso Payoyo was too strong for my personal taste, did not seem to bother my three friends who promptly devoured the platter!
Revuelto de Erizo was scrambled eggs with potatoes, scallions and Sea Urchin, I rather eat my Sea Urchin raw, but it was quite tasty. The piece de Resistance came last. The most incredible Jamon Iberico that melted in your mouth. A great lunch all around. Three glasses of delicious red wine, two beers, three bottles of water, the bill came to €100.00. It may seem a bit pricey, but it was well worth it. We were not rushed, and had a very pleasant and long lunch with friends. We will most definitely go back. read more
