One of my favorite meals while in CDMX. We had reservation and asked to be seated in their patio…read morearea because it was such a nice day. The patio was covered with so many greenery and provided a lot of shades. We ordered a few items to share: - Toasted bread, chicken liver, and black truffle: a good appetizer to start off with. The chicken pate was good, a bit different from what I'm used to. - Pappardelle with pork ragu: this was super good. Love the pasta texture on this. Pork ragu sauce was also perfect. - Robalo ceviche, watermelon, Serrano pepper: a refreshing ceviche to balance out the meal. the watermelon added a bit of sweetness. - Pizza capocollo, radicchio, straquinella cheese: a good size pizza to share. I like thin crust. - Arugula, roasted tomatoes, Parmesan salad: fresh arugula that went perfectly with the roasted tomatoes. Every meal needs a good salad. - Ricotta stuffed zucchini blossoms: this was my favorite dish we tried. Such a unique combo of flavors. The ricotta cheese just melted when you bite into the zuchinni blossoms. It also had a light crispy texture. - Hummus and pita bread: another good choice for appetizer. The hummus was solid. The service was excellent. Everyone was attentive and our food didn't take long to come out. Would highly recommend to add this place to your list. This is also a great area to check out, plenty of things to do in La Condesa.

The interior was brightly lit with a large beautiful bar, and had the vibe of a French cafe. We were brought out some complimentary (pita-like) bread, which was nice, but would have been better with something like olive oil to dip it in. My friend and I ordered 3 items to share - the Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms, Eggplant Parmesan, and Barbacoa. Portions were on the smaller side, but this was the perfect food quantity for us. The Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms were fine but a little bland. I liked the Eggplant Parmesan and Barbacoa, but neither really blew my mind. For everything I'd heard about Lardo, I felt like our experience was good but not amazing. Would check it out for breakfast to compare!

There are two dining areas and a fascinating little store that sells tea, jewelry, designer clothes and in the hallway, beauty products (I think). Note: It is quite dark. I felt really old because I needed my phone light to read the menu, but our much younger waiter also had trouble seeing to process our credit card lol. Service was kind and professional. Tuscan food is unusual for us and we don't eat many of the ingredients, so our selections were a bit limited. Happily, we both found dishes that we enjoyed. My husband had chicken breast, which came with a salad snd sweet potato puree. The salad dressing was so light and lemony. I want to come back just for that. My white fish was Mediterranean in style and cooked in a sauce of cherry tomato, artichokes, olives and capers. It was delicious, but enough for two or three meals, so I took some home. Our meals came with herbed crisp breads and herb butter. They have a nice selection of teas and I absolutely loved the white tea with flower petals and lychee. Overall, a great find.

Overall when I was there the service…read morewas a bit lacking - took us a long time to get water, place our order, and they forgot to bring us the bread until mid way through our meal. To add to that, they forgot the butter with our bread and we had to let them know. This might be because we're close to the window so we're seated further than some other tables. But given the price point, I expected more attentiveness especially since the table next to us was receiving everything in a timely manner. Food was average - I would say this restaurant is definitely more for the view.

We didn't have a reservation so we put our names down for a table of 4 and took a walk down by the water. Once we received the text notifying us that our table was ready we were seated at a lovely table with a great view of the water. Service during lunch was pretty spotty, our server disappeared for large chunks of time throughout and when one of my friends ordered a wellness shot our server said that he wouldn't like it and that it would make him feel weird. The complimentary pastries to start were a nice touch and my friends loved their enfrijoladas. I ordered the eggs with wild mushrooms and asked for a side of the vegetables but it showed up with ham on top instead which was a bummer. My husband got the duck sandwich and said that it was fine. Overall lunch was ok, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here and would not recommend this to friends coming to Mexico City.

So many pastries and breads to choose from! We of course had to try the famous guava roll which is croissant-like that also had cheese custard. The cute little pig like cookie was cute. We didn't dine in since it was hard to find seats for our group, so we just stop by to grab to-go. If you want some their popular items, make sure to come during the day time since it will run out. We came here a few times to try different baked goods: - Guava roll (5/5) - Butter croissant and honey croissant (4/5) - Tres leches cake (5/5) - Concha (3/5) - Mil hojas de frutos rojos/mixed berries napoleon (4/5)   The most popular item was their guava roll and it lived up to its expectations. The guava jam was sweet but not too overwhelming. The roll itself had a similar taste to a croissant. It was soft and flaky. They nailed the texture. We ordered a slice of the tres leches and napoleon. Tres leches was moist and the napoleon also was delish. Everything was well priced and a decent size for the price. The concha was also good, not too dry. They have an outdoor patio with shades. The menu also offer a variety of coffee drinks although we didn't try it this time. Overall, a great stop for a sweet treat.
