Local Mexican food joint serving Veracruz style with plenty of seating.
This place was great because we got caught up in the rains in Cancun and many restaurants were closer and roofs were leaking everywhere! Thanks goodness we found this nice, clean restaurant with local prices too.
The waiters don't speak English here so be prepared to break out in Spanish or just point, nod and smile!
Strangely, we were served a croissant and sweet bun as an appetizer and then our regular main meal...i'm not sure if we were suppose to wait till dessert to eat the croissant and bun but we gobbled those up anyway. You will find the main dishes are more of a Veracruz style with richer flavours and sweet sauces.
We enjoyed our meal here and was only a short drive from our Air BnB rental. read more
