If I could leave less than 1 star I would. First of all, the receptionist and supervisor at their dispatch center are very nice and professional. They will guarantee the world to you and get you really excited. We contacted them to repaint the inside of our town house. The walls are 20ft high and I am disabled so it is very hard for me to DIY something like this. Painters show up 2 hours late to our house, and did not bring any equipment. No ladder, no scaffolding, nothing. I had informed them multiple times that we had 20ft walls and they would need extension poles and ladders. They did not bring any. They left, and came back two hours later with the proper equipment. They taped off our living room half assedly, and slapped up the accent wall colors worse than i could have done myself. They got paint all over our floor boards, ceilings, and would have gotten it on our sofa had I not insisted they cover that with plastic as well. They didn't finish the job, not even halfway. They decided to leave, and claimed they would return on Friday with 4 guys. Friday rolls around and it's 10AM, they said they'd be here at 9. I call the dispatch and the lady informs me that "the guy" who was supposed to come had car trouble and can't make it. We'd have to reschedule. I informed her that I had taken off two days of work in order to oversee this job, and it needed to be finished today, and I wanted 4 people to get in here and do a good job, as I was promised. She called me back and said the painter "found a ride" and it was still just one guy. The one guy shows up finally at 11AM, and takes one look at the inside of my townhouse and says "nope I can't do this alone" and leaves. I'm left here still, right now, with paint half slapped on the walls of my townhouse, and plastic all over my living room furniture. I'm furious... because they also already charged my card for the job and have yet to finish it. This is a horrible experience. Their workers are incompetent and their communication is terrible. This was our 1st experience with home remodeling. We did our entire kitchen , master bath, wood flooring, fixtures, and some tile. The design center team were amazing and so patient in helping me make all my color and surface selections. As a commercial contractor I decided to have a local company install my countertops. Long story short, I did not receive the counter tops I ordered. The detail edge was not what I ordered. Sales blamed the installers and the installers blamed the Sales person. All this while on speaker phone for the customer to hear. (Very unprofessional) In the end I was refunded for the detailed work I did not receive and it took a month to get a refund check even though I live less than a mile from the showroom. The salesperson even said they were going to mail the check the next day after the incident. read more

Was looking for a very specific flooring color and style, Ed the owner and Isabella with the front office worked so hard to match the pictures I was providing. With COVID it is hard to view items in person. I must say that the color was spot on the quality amazing, they installers were very professional and really took their time with the install of the floors. They paid special attention to detail and made sure to install the flooring under all thresholds. They were very clean and respectful of the home which I greatly appreciate. I too would give this company 0 stars if possible. I'm so frustrated I can't even begin to say. And I won't bore you with all details but I will list pertinent points: 1. Scheduled work a month in advance for a very specific date, called to confirm work was on track FOUR SEPARATE TIMES and was told yes absolutely you are scheduled Day of job, two of the three installers did not show up or call 2. Owner Ed flat out lied to me when I called to find out where installers were "I just spoke to him and he'll be there in 15 minutes" LIE I was still waiting 1 hour later. 3. Finally got actual installer on phone and was told he changed the date to tomorrow instead-YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT, HE decided to reschedule without contacting me. This is not the first time I've experienced the same behavior from them. Why go back for more you ask? They are the "approved" vendor the company I work for uses (not any more after this thank goodness) and so I didn't have a different option-to throw a bone which I don't think they deserve, the work they do is good-but you can't get them to show up when scheduled OR get a straight answer from anyone in the office. UNRELIABLE is a better name for them. The hours I wasted scheduling in advance for measuring and install was entirely wasted and of no use, not to mentioned the 4 hours of frustration today just trying to get a straight answer. So if you have lots of time to waste and you don't care when your job is complete, fire away and give them a try or do as I suggest and DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. read more

They can't seem to get anything right, they drag their feet in getting a project completed, they hardly ever reply to calls or e-mails. It's been a terrible experience for us. First of all, I've been a contractor for well over 35 years. We had a home in Corona that had been a rental for the last 8 years. After the last tenant moved out, we inspected the property and it was in need of some serious repair work. We also decided to sell the property, so the repair work needed to be completed quickly with no issues. After more investigation, the property needed serious plumbing work, drywall repair, kitchen cabinet refinishing, sink and bath refinishing, complete painting, carpet cleaning, other minor repairs and complete cleaning. I had started contacting contractors and was looking at 2-3 months of work with 5-6 separate contractors. Just a lot of work to keep things moving forward and coordinating with the individual contractors. I was not looking forward to all of this. I had driven by Reliable a couple of times in the past, and decided to drop in and see what they could do for the kitchen cabinets. I ended up talking to Ed and leaned they were a multi-discipline contractor and they could do ALL of my work with his individual Tech Teams. This was real a stroke of luck. A one stop shop for everything I needed. I went over his references and some of his past projects. He worked up a detailed quotation and we decided give him the opportunity. This worked out great. He had a small army of Reliable Tech Teams rotating through the home working every aspect of the repair work and it all went fast. There would be additional issues discovered and they were taken care of quickly. There would be a couple of days when we were waiting for the next team, but no big deal. All of the work was completed in an amazing 3 weeks. We were stunned. His pricing for the work was absolutely fair and competitive, with any issues that popped near the end fixed quickly. Reading some of the reviews here, I see people complaining about not showing up exactly as planned. Good contractors are hard to find and are busy "because they are good". Schedules are always adjusting. That's a fact of life in the construction trades with the good contractors. If you can't flow with the adjusting work schedules, you really need to go do something else, as that's the way it is with quality work. I'm giving Ed 5 Stars, as he cut my original schedule by 60%, did the work at a fair price, and the work was completed with great craftsmanship. Once Ed's work was completed, the home was sold in 30 days to a very happy buyer. Now that's a real success story. read more

Yes, I had the same bad experience and totally agreed with Melissa R, Corona. We had the kitchen remodel, the contractor didn't show up as scheduled, so when they came in the next day and installed the kitchen sink which was not the same material as we were told (KOHL). After many times of phone calling, finally Ed stop by to take a look at it, and he decided to refund us $400 for the wrong material. Johnathan, RR interior designer quitted right after we had the contract signed up with him, hence, our kitchen wasn't done right as he was no longer there (the designer supposed to come by to follow up and inspect how the project going). read more

They are a horrible horrible company!!! My boyfriend and I went in to check out carpet for our master bedroom. After being greeted by an unprofessional ( I mean who wears flip flops [beach kind not cute fancy kind] to work with dress pants and a dress shirt?) over-glorified receptionist (Thanks for nothing Christina) who had no knowledge of the product she was attempting to sell us, we were finally given some guidance by Isabella. She gave us a quote (which ended up being completely incorrect and had to be re-done which ended up being almost $600 more than the original quote) and told us someone would come to measure the room to ensure the had the correct measurements to order the carpet and sent us on our merry way. The guy comes that same week to measure and we go into the store to pay and have them place the order. We were informed by Isabella that it would take a week to arrive from Georgia, they would need an extra day to inspect it and would call us to schedule the install. Almost two weeks go by (and a few phone calls by us to see the status of the already paid for carpet) and we get told: "oh yeah the carpet just arrived today, let us inspect it and we will call you tomorrow". Two more days go by and WE call again to see the status. They had no idea what we were talking about and said they would have Isabella call back. She FINALLY calls back and schedules the install for the following Monday (Almost a month after we ordered the carpet when we were told it would take a week and a half to two weeks). Monday rolls around and the carpet installer arrives. He was a sweet man, who took pride in his work because when he had finished pulling out the old carpet and putting the padding down for the new carpet, realized there was not enough carpet for the room. He called the business and let them know there was a problem. They told him to go ahead with the install and to just seam the carpet by our bedroom door. He seemed unsure and explained to my boyfriend what was happening and asked if he was ok with this. Obviously that was not what we were told, so my boyfriend called the store. It turns out the first guy had measured the room wrong and they actually needed 3 extra feet, but Christina told us, "oh don't worry about it we can just use the scraps and sew them together and save some money". That was not what we had paid for, we paid for carpet that would look good in our room, not to save YOU money. Then Christina had the audacity to tell my boyfriend that "the measuring guy has NEVER been wrong with his measurements, are you sure it's really off?" Like no, we are just kidding, it's ok that we are missing 3 feet of carpet in our room, who needs it anyway!?!? My boyfriend had to take pictures of the area with the measuring tape and draw out the area and send it to the store for them to believe him. They finally sent out a floor manager to come to look at the problem. He told my boyfriend that he apologized for the incompetence of the salespeople, but what could he do to have the job finished today. He offered my boyfriend $100 to have them use the scraps and seam them for the 3-foot area. If we had not run out of time (we are getting new furniture next week and needed the room done) and hadn't already paid for the carpet, we would have asked for a refund or had them reorder with the correct dimensions. Beware when buying from them!!! They have horrible customer service skills and do not take ownership of their mistakes. We will definitely not be using them for our other rooms carpet installation. WE DO NOT RECCOMEND THEM!!!!! read more

If I could I would have given Lila Benally from ELCI 6 stars. I dealt mostly with Lila Benally she was very professional. Lila helped pick our kitchen pattern and design any questions or changes I went directly through her. We were given a date and time for the contractors to come and take measurements, they arrived in the allotted time window. Within a week I received a detailed quote and a 3D design on the work to be done. All the different contractors that were involved were all neat, clean and knew there job, when they left for the day they cleaned up let me know when they were leaving and when they would be back. The cabinet work was beautiful and as advertised. When the backsplash was being done I felt there needed to be additional backsplash so Lila came by and agreed and the additional backsplash was done at a very reasonable cost to me. All work was done in a timely manor. I like the kitchen work so much that I had Lila design us extra cabinet that looked like a hutch and it came out great. It is all in the before and after pictures, all our family and friends love the way the kitchen came out. Thank you Lila for your work and help, it is and was greatly appreciated if we ever need anything else done we know where to go. read more

My family just moved into the area last week and the master bedroom of our home was unlivable and needed to be changed immediately. I visited Reliable Renovation on Saturday around 11:30pm and asked if there was anyway for someone to install carpet that day. Lila was an amazing help and made it possible, we picked out a great nylon textured carpet which they had in stock and the installers showed up at 4pm that same day. Lila went above and beyond making phone calls and following up with us throughout the day to make this happen. Once they took our $75.00 deposit to come out and measure the house for the project it took 2 months to even get the quote. One excuse after another. The first quote was very vague and confusing, when I asked for them to break it down by project it came back $8,000 higher than the original quote.
