There are almost no words to describe how incredible it was. From start to finish, everything was perfect! I was looked after by Carly. She welcomed me warmly and presented me with a cup of herbal tea, and also offered me the opportunity to customise my treatment (which I did). There was a short questionnaire about my needs and expectations (how firm do I like my massage? how much talking would I like during my treatment? do I have any specific areas which I would like to focus on today? etc). The treatment room I was ushered into was beautifully appointed (two massage tables so could be used for a couples treatment - I am looking forward to trying that sometime!). The music playing was really relaxing and just to my taste (such a nice change from Enya and the other cliche soundtrack which I have become accustomed to in some other similar establishments!). Their robes are divinely soft, their skincare products and oils all smelled divine and left me feeling like a Queen. My treatment began with a relaxing footbath and foot massage, then a full body massage, followed by a facial. It was exquisite! I have previously visited some wonderful day spas for massage and facial treatments, including Jurlique and other high end places, but this is far and away the best of all. I have dropped some very un-subtle hints with my significant other and am crossing all my fingers that next birthday/Christmas/anniversary I might just be lucky enough to receive another Endota Spa voucher! Next time I will definitely ask for Carly again, she was absolutely wonderful :)

The Southern Spa, exclusive to guests at the Southern Ocean Lodge, offers a fairly size able listing of spa services. Because of its scale, some of the more upper end indulgences that you may be wanting from a day spa and not possible, but if a great massage, facial or body service is wanted, you will be well taken care of. There are only a handful of employees here but you wouldn't know that other than you may be greeted by the same person who does your massage. The changing room has a couple of lockers in it as well as a shower, high end, great smelling soaps and lotions, and towels. There is also a small steam room for your use. Because of its small size, there are not private facilities for men and women so know that you may be waiting in your plush robe with others. Like everything else at this resort, the prices are all inclusive so you are not asked to tip up at the end of your service. And since they can put it on your room charge, when you are finished, you just exit and walk back down the boardwalk, admiring the view around you and wishing it had more time to spend relaxing. They do have a 5 hour cancellation policy and again, given the small scale this operates on, be sure to schedule your treatments when you arrive so that you can get the times that you want. All in all, a very nice experience during my stay at the Southern Ocean Lodge.

As she massaged the conditioner into my hair the chair massaged my back and legs, such a relaxing introduction. I sipped on a flat white and nibbled on a biscuit, while she expertly cut my hair, applied product, blow dried and straightened it. With 15 years experience, Kim is a gem of a hair dresser - I'm getting my hair styled for a wedding at Vanilla Vibe and will definitely be getting by hair cut there from now on.

These two jordanian brothers are the most agreeable, happy men you could ever hope to meet. It is a little difficult to tell them apart, except that Khalid is taller and a lot more talkative (in a good way). They provide excellent old fashioned service with a smile. You can send your man in there to have a traditional barber shop shave and he can come out feeling very pampered - a good idea for a Christmas or birthday present for those hard to buy for men. It is a busy little shop especially on the weekends. Regulars and visitors alike file in here for a $20 haircut using just clippers. How cheap is that! We girls have to spend at least three times that to get our mane clipped.
