Jen and Leila couldn't be more accommodating. We shot a 2-day short film at Electric Pony and it was exactly what we needed. If you're looking for a standing warehouse set this is the place to go. They have a full compliment of production and G&E packages which you can negotiate ahead of your shoot or rent a la carte if you find yourself in a pinch. There's a shower and hose hookups - which were both crucial for our bloody special effects. Plus there's a dog! read more

We rented the space out for a weekend for a short film I produced. Awesome awesome experience working with Jen and Laila! Personally, I would definitely work with them again. Our production team shot our comedic short film at their warehouse last weekend and we got the look we wanted! Both Jen and Laila were really organized and were very easy to work with. They would check in on us just to see how things were going and if we needed anything. Also... they have a ton of equipment and so many cool props, which were included in the rental!!! Working with Electric Pony Studios actually saved our production a lot of money (and we could apply the equipment and props budget to other really cool post production things!) We had an ideal production experience at Electric Pony. Leila and Jen clearly care about making sure your production runs smoothly. I stopped by on a Sunday for a tour and was happily surprised to find out they rent their own grip and lighting equipment, which saved us the hassle of renting and transporting it from somewhere else. The spaces are huge and come with lots of amenities. And to top it all off, their pricing is affordable enough for indie budgets. Go scout because the pictures don't do it justice. The on-site G&E package can also come in very handy for indie productions that want to save money on a truck, and that's speaking from experience. The response time is damn near immediate, and Leila is flexible, helpful, and knowledgeable. This space is great. Equipped with ceiling lights, rolling steel doors, and outlet so you've got several lighting options. It was quiet while we filmed too so sound was a breeze. Had a great shoot at Electric Pony a few months ago. The space is large and spacious with different areas offering different backdrops. There's no cyc, which would be a welcome addition. But it has a funky urban vibe, giant rolling doors, cool brick and industrial backdrops, good WiFi, and I loved being able to drive right up and unload . The team is very accommodating to your needs and scheduling. And there's a fantastic taco truck one block away for lunch. read more
