Electrical Plus did a $2000.00 job repairing & installing receptacles and other things. One of the switches didn't work, so they came back within a week and tried to charge me. Then we noticed that the attic fan they installed wasn't working(within 2 weeks), so they came back and fixed it, but now want $195.00 for a warranty repair. If they come back to do clean up work on their shoddy install, they will charge you. read more

Given the frequency of power outages, high and low voltage spikes we experience, Electrical Plus has always been available to trouble shoot and resolve our power issues with Peco. Thankfully, we had them install a 16-circuit back-up panel years ago which allows us to connect a portable generator to a 30-amp outlet at our front door. This temporary option powers our well, septic, fridges, microwave, Wi-Fi, TVs and a host of lights. Would not consider working with any other electrical team. We recently had Electrical Plus out to upgrade our detached garage's electrical service so that we could charge our two electric vehicles at once. The process was all very professionally done. Kip came out to give us a quote and from there we scheduled the upgrade with the office over email (which is very convenient). They were very accommodating when I had further questions. The work was done over 2 days. The electricians were very professional, making sure to clean up everything after they were done as well as walking through all of the work. Everything was done with as minimal disruption to our household as humanly possible. Finally and electrician that ticks all the boxes we will use going forward. We had a small electrical outlet issue and needed a new light hung in the dining room. Scheduling process was easy and friendly, reminders and notifications were on par with the latest technology features and our electrician Tom showed up on time. He was professional and took the COVID crisis seriously wearing a mask and maintaining appropriate social distance. My experience with electrical plus has been fairly APPALLING. After spending almost $2,000 to get our 35 year old electrical panel replaced, they did not attach the ground wire to the panel for the whole house. I had to hire another master electrician to come spur-of-the-moment during a kitchen remodel, he discovered this problem and showed it to me, I took pictures, and then he fixed it while fixing other things. Electrical Plus, claims it's a 2-second fix. That's nice, but it has nothing to do with taking responsibility for incomplete work that could have allowed my young children to be electrocuted because the whole house wasn't grounded. No matter what they say, incomplete work is incomplete work. When I called, and emailed, starting the day I found this out, I got no responses. I had to make a statement that I would report them to the state for incomplete work before I finally got a response. I also paid $200 for an inspection, that they didn't bother to follow up on and make sure it happened. They like to say it's not their fault because they can't control the inspectors, which has nothing to do with follow-up. Plain common courtesy customer service. I ran client service departments for 20 years. I know exactly what good customer service looks like. On top of all that, the person who responded from electrical plus to my emails, argued with me through 13 emails without ever taking responsibility, and only offered back $50 out of the $2000 for the "inconvenience" and said he did not believe me that the wire wasn't grounded in the first place. I don't appreciate being called a liar. As I repeatedly said, the inspection didn't happen until I followed up myself, after the master electrician fixed electrical plus's mistake. They would not have passed the inspection, had I not paid more money on top of the total to electrical plus for someone else to fix their mistake. I only asked for 10% back. It's not an inconvenience to my family if someone gets electrocuted, especially a small child! Here is a sample of the kind of customer service electrical plus offers with their work. Buyer beware! "Hooking up the ground wire takes 2 seconds and I don't believe that we had not hooked it up.  If we had failed the inspection, we would have come back to fix it for free. We have used this business a few times and liked them. But this time they came out to install two GFI outlets, and run a 220 dryer line and wire a light. They charged us 5 hours and $1100.00 !! I was sure this was an error and I wrote telling them that. The owner not only sticks by his price but continues to argue with me . I don't recommend them. But Jenna was very nice. read more

Amazing service!! They had installed my ceiling fan in the past for a great price and great service. Today on a Sunday I called and by talking to Jeremy on the phone figured out the issue with the electric to my heating. He could have come over and charged me to do the easy fix but instead figured it out over the phone. The issue was also important because I have a baby in the house and it's winter and Jeremy was very sympathetic to my plea for help. BEWARE of this company. Yes, they are nice and quick and responsive but they will promise one thing and charge something completely differently. The person who came to my house to check out a few concerns (turned out it was nothing electrical) assured me, two days before Christmas, that he was not going to charge me for the visit because he really didn't do anything. He just asked that if I ever need any work done, to let them be the company i use. I agreed and was very grateful for the gesture and fairness especially considering the time of year. Then I started getting bills from the company. I called and left voicemails asking to speak to someone to discuss the matter and no one ever bother to return my call, just kept sending bills. I paid the bill, but just beware of them. They'll promise one thing then just bill you what they feel like and demand their money. read more

Had Electrical Plus come out to wire a hot tub. Quote seemed comparable to others. Jenna was great in answering all of my questions, explaining the process, and staying flexible with my schedule. The wiring job was pretty tricky because of the location, but they worked with me and the electrical inspector to make sure it was a good solution that would pass inspection. I had an electrical problem and called Electrical Plus and they were able to come over almost immediately. Loved Jeremy - he was polite, on time, and solved the problem. They did need to come back for a second time to fix a secondary problem, and it was over $500 total bill which absolutely crushed me this month, BUT I don't know what the going rate is for these types of trouble shooting issues.
