I was so pleased with the staff and service that I received. I brought in my Bose Wave 3 system because of static on the radio. We listened to the radio and established the reason for the static was that the antennae was missing. One of the staff hooked up a temporary fix so that I can enjoy the radio static free. This was done free of charge with staff members being courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. What superb service. A few months back I had an old 1960's radio serviced by them with the same amazing service. read more

Take a large container of vaseline when you go to pick up your stuff. I dropped my board off, got a call 33 minutes after I left saying its done. The charge: 1.5 hours labour ($180). 10 years ago I used to use this guy. Would come in, he'd fix it fast, and take 25$ off me. If your dentist knows about electronics it'll probably be less expensive. Mayfield Electronic has a more transparent billing system. read more

Took our 55" LG in for a repair, was quoted 150-200 then they informed us it would be 350+. This is ridiculous, our TV just had a loose connection as the TV would just turn black. They're going to fix it and turn around and sell it for profit! This business is a scam.... The woman on the phone was rude and they don't follow covid rules, no masks. No, their customer service finesse will not leave you feeling warm and fuzzy like you just walked into the fairmont hotel. I'm a chiropractor who uses unusual diagnostic technical electronics and compared to the medical suppliers that sell me these electronics they are extremely fair in their pricing and they can handle complex jobs. I've also been taking my home electronics there for years and they always get the job done well and usually on time. I'll dock them a star for not being a little more friendly in the explaining of things but they do fine work at a fair price. read more

Customer Service... there is none. Was told by Visions (Clairview) to take my Onkyo amp down to this place for warranty work to save some time. I had the original receipt and extended warranty. I was then ask to provide a receipt from over 10 years before that was for a replacement amp that I also had the receipts and extended warranty for. This was to much for the customer service to handle / process. I was told I had no warranty and when I tried to prove that I did they would not even look at the receipt stating "Its to complicated for us to deal with". The amp is now going back to Visions for them to deal with. Save your self some grief... go else where. read more

Located in a southside industrial area in an unpretentious strip mall, the reception area is tiny, noisy and shabby looking. The reception staff is unenthusiastic and ignore you for several minutes before serving you. What you see is what you get with Electronics Analyst. This is one of those businesses to avoid if you have an older technology to repairs. They won't look for hard-to get parts and if you press for more information about your unit, they don't return telephone calls or answer e-mails, especially when they've got your money. The service on pickup is just as rotten as when you brought it in. The reception staff will try and get you to sign all sorts of release documents before they bring out your unrepaired unit. After my experience with these people, I would strongly advise against giving them anything to repair, especially if it's a manufacturer that they aren't an authorized repair dealer. If the factory doesn't trust them, why should you? read more

They could not do a simple repair job on a Panasonic receiver system and charged a hefty $63 for not doing any repairs. They should advertise as such ie "We charge for NOT repairing your electronic equipment" so please waist your time and money by coming to our great store. What an expensive joke. read more

Fixed our 2010 panasonic sound system that Visions told us to throw away. They found the problem, proposed a solution and made the sound system work as good as new. Cost conscious and very reasonable. Service took less than a week -- really appreciate the work done. read more

I tried to arrange a home service call for my older Panasonic television. I was asked for a credit card number first to pay for the service call and told to expect a call from their tech to set up an appointment. After two days,no call and the charge has already been applied to my card. I phoned the store and after being told that someone will call me " sometime" I decided I didn't want these people touching my TV. It has been a while since I needed TV repair but I cannot believe how far down the service business has fallen. Very poor! read more

I took my Sharp R-1874F microwave/convection oven to the Sharp Service provider, Electronic Analyst, in Edmonton Alberta for repair. I thoroughly explained the history of the problem to the person at the front and later to the technician over the phone. (The unit was cooking some stuffing in the convection mode and, after checking to see how it was doing, was accidently switched to microwave mode. We were outside when the smoke detector warned us of the error. The stuffing and bowl were burnt so badly they had to be thrown out. Since then the microwave worked well for several months but when we next tried the convection mode the unit smoked badly inside the oven.) Electronic Analyst checked it out thoroughly and said they could find nothing at all wrong with it and charged us a $30 checkout fee. We reinstalled it and it immediately started belching smoke again. We live a 5 hour drive from Edmonton but a relative was going there and took the unit back to Electronic Analyst with a note explaining the problem. Jordan, at the front desk, immediately gave my relative obnoxious attitude and said there was nothing wrong with the unit and, if we wanted, he was willing to put it back on their shelf for a couple of weeks, charge us another checkout fee and then give it back to us. I then talked to Jordan on the phone and he, with attitude, told me that the unit was full of grease and it was the grease that was causing the smoke. He stated that it would take hours to clean out all of the grease and they would do it if I was willing to pay for it. (There had been no mention of grease or any problem at all when I picked it up.) I do not know if they actually tested anything on it or only tested the microwave oven portion but I would strongly suggest that nothing be taken to them if you actually want it repaired. In my opinion, they were incompetent and incomplete in their troubleshooting skills and no one should have to put up with their belligerent, pugnacious attitude. read more
