Lovely selection of flowers and low prices, and arrangements in store which were stunning. The business was recommended to me as a wedding florist by several of my friends, and they didn't disappoint, Pauline & Andrea were amazing throughout!! I booked a wedding consultation initially with Pauline for my wedding flowers and to share some ideas, she made me feel so relaxed and definately took the stress out of the process, offering fantastic and well informed expert advice. I never once felt pressured, sadly the same could not be said for some of the other florists with whom I had consulted with. After finally agreeing on my flowers and various things, I was kept in touch with throughout the process which certainly helped ease the nerves and worry. The 'big day' arrived and my flowers were presented to me at the hotel and as promised, the venue was fully dressed - I never once had any concerns, and the flowers just were simply stunning so much so it brought me to tears; the fact I had so many comments about them during the day confirmed that I had made the right decision in going to Bromborough Flowers. The biggest surprise (or maybe it wasnt given what I had been told by friends who have been here before), was simply the price... I had to ask Pauline to recheck a couple of times as it was massively cheaper than the other florists who quoted me in the area. Every shade of food colouring is here, a rainbow assortment of mini pots and ribbons all at decent prices. The cakes on display are magnificent. A cake which was covered entirely in iced roses and butterflies was so intricate that they looked real! Whether you want a tower of cupcakes iced to perfection or your very own celebratory cake topped with Ganesh the God of success as icing, it's in the window. So much work goes into these pieces of culinery art that it's worth every penny and if you want to see how it's done for yourself the Liverpool Sugarcraft Club meet to demonstrate and there's usually a sign in their window to let you know when the next one is occurring!

I love surprising friends with fresh flowers that don't look like thay have come from the local garage. Lula delivers and the prices are reasonable. It's just below street level but you can't miss the large pink sign. They don't have a website so I'll post some photos to show their creativity. On my trip to Lula I purchased a varied and colourful arrangement of lilys and carnations with various other types of flowers thrown in there. This was all done on the reccomendation of the extremely helpful staff who simply asked who the flowers were for and the kind of arrangement I would like and took it from there. This kind of service is sadly missing from many modern day businesses and it was an extremely satisfying feeling to have experienced such excellent customer service and attention to detail. The arrangement cost around £7.00 which was a reasonable amount for an above par level of service. Lula is a much fresher and personal alternative to purchasing flowers which are sold at the Spa store a few doors up. If you are a Liverpool local with a need to cheer up a special someone visit Lula and I promise you will not feel dissapointed. He climbs on tables, springs at you from behind bushes, etc. all to get those spontaneous, candid smiles we all want (or do we?) in our wedding photos. He is, however, very professional in his skills despite his Tigger-like pouncing. The photos for my friend's wedding came out beautifully, and I really liked the different poses he did for the bride and groom as well as the wedding party. There was some really creative, fun ideas there. They also got an album from him for some of their photos, and the presentation was beautiful. I'd definitely recommend this photographer for your wedding, but be forewarned: I meant what I said about his sanity.

Yet one was unaware that he was moving around as he is so professional that he knows how not to disrupt. He has such a friendly manner that puts people at ease. His photos are EXCELLENT. Would have given 5 stars but for the sullen staff member that served me, didn't raise a smile once even though I was very pleasant, didn't advise me of prices before inflating balloons, didn't ask me what coloured ties/strings I wanted or in what order I wanted the balloons on the ties. When I had paid she didn't even look up when I said thank you and goodbye. Not great customer service really. The other times I have gone I had been served by someone else and they were very nice and talked me through all my options with the balloons. 1 metallic helium balloon and 2 pearlized happy birthday balloons on the ties with weight cost £8.10.

However, I was somewhat pressurised into putting a deposit down, a deposit I was not informed couldn't be returned. My wedding got cancelled for very personal and distressing reasons and beryl advised she does not give refunds so they have my £100 deposit in a dress they put not cost out on and will put back out to be sold again. This is a terrible example of customer service where all she seems interested in is getting money and not the customer. I will not be telling my friends and family to use this company.

When we got there, we hadn't made an appointment but were made to feel really welcome, we spent ages looking at the suits and even though the staff were busy with a fitting, they were still really helpful. They also had a large selection of wedding dresses so last week when I went looking, we popped in off spec. I wasn't expecting to find anything but when we walked in, we were made to feel so welcome, we picked out some dresses, and they had some offers on as well so can have dresses to suit every budget. I tried 3 on and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I loved one dress but couldn't decide on the spot (it was a sample in my size) so they reserved it to let me make a decision. When I went back the next day, service was still top notch, I tried the dress on and nothing was too much trouble. We're going to go back and get the men's hire from there as prices are reasonable and there's a massive choice of styles and colours. They really have taken some of the stress out of wedding shopping!
