Old town Perugia stay!
My husband and I stayed in this modern, one-bedroom, first-floor apartment on the edge of the historic centre of Perugia for 5 nights. The apartment is lovely and appeared to have been renovated recently with good quality fittings and furnishing. There was a small terrace which is lovely if the sun is shining. We had mixed feelings about the location though. It's only a short walk from the major sights of Perugia and Corso Vanucci, the main shopping street, but it's an uphill walk along grimy Via Cartolari into the centre which is lined with some heavily graffitied buildings. There are a couple of supermarkets (Coop and Pam Local), and plenty of shopping and dining options within walking distance. It's also very close to the Pincetto MiniMetro stop which connects you to the station. The kitchen was well equipped with a small fridge freezer, pod coffee machine, microwave, 2 burner electric cooktop, oven, dishwasher, and plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware. There was a washing machine and some detergent pods in the bathroom, and a clothes rack for drying. Dante and Eli were great host - they were very helpful and responsive. read more
