I have been a guest to La Mucchia two weeks ago, I found this place thanks to 105 excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. In reality, the place is much much beautiful as described or showed in the photos, including their owners site. This is the best location for day trips and to explore Tuscany, the owners are presented in their office which is a fantastic art gallery, every morning, they will help with tips and maps, as experts of the area. The suite number 3 was a dream, everything in good taste and authentic furniture of Tuscany style. We shall be back and will recommend it to all our friends and relatives. read more

La Mucchia Casa was amazing. The location was perfect for us to be able to drive to the various places we wanted to visit. The house was perfect. A true Tuscan experience. The gentlemen who own the property were more that helpful and welcoming. The room was comfortable and truly provided a place to relax. The complimentary bottle of wine was a special and unexpected bonus. We so enjoyed our stay there, and loved both the town of Camucia and Cortona. It was the highlight of our trip. We definately plan to make this a stop on our next visit to Italy. read more

My best friend and I stayed here for 7 nights in July 2010. The owners were very nice, friendly and helpful. They even gave us a basket with wine,coffee,sweets for a welcome ! The suite was clean, peaceful and beautiful with full comfort. There's a nice pool and a resident kitty coming from the neighbours to say helloeach morning. It's about a 1 hour walk to the town center, but good exercise, 5 -10 min by car. We loved this place and highly recommend it to others! sometimes we shall be back. read more

Great place La Mucchia casa vacanze, it is located in a very good point at the foot of the cortona hill town, in excellent point for day tours, short excursions to all small towns and villages in the Cortona and Tuscany area. La Mucchia hotel is very nice decorated it is an old stone house built in 1760 and renovated, according to the nice owners.We shall recommend it to all our friends. read more

I stayed at La Mucchia in August 2013 with my two kids and my wife. We enjoyed very much our stay, the farmhouse is amazingly restored, everything was very nice, the garden with roses and lawns, the pool was clear and clean, the suite we stayed was spotless shiny, the hosts were kind and helpful with all requests. Excellent location, fantastic hosts, help with tips. The villa is 300 years old, renovated to perfection, all what you desire is in, wifi, parking place, pool, rose gardens, fruits, lawns, the inside is charming, with authentic furniture. all in all, it is the best place for us ever dreamed of, for our vacation and most of it thanks to the generous hosts. read more

the best place I have ever been for vacation, it is amazing, the farmhouse is 300 years old and restored recently preserving the soul and ANIMA of the medival times, the hosts are very kind and helpful and we had great time, my wife had tears in her eyes when we left, we felt as being at home away from home.
