They've lied to me and cheated me out of my hard earned money…read more I ordered 500 sq. ft of Bruce, high gloss finish, hardwood flooring from these people March 31, 2015, to tie in with my existing floor. I first spoke with the owner, Andrew who told me he'd meet or beat Lowe's prices (1st lie) then he turned me over to his salesperson, Debra. She quoted me $3.29 sq. ft. for a satin finish, $4.65 for high gloss. I ordered high gloss, which is what I already have in my home. After the flooring was half installed, I could see the finish was satin. I called Above Board Flooring immediately, told them I didn't expect the hardwood to be torn up and replaced but I did expect to be given the $1.26 difference in price they up charged me for high gloss. They refuse to take repsonsibility, putting all the blame on Debra, who convienently doesn't work for them any more! I sat with Debra, in her office when she called Bruce directly on March 30, and inquired about the high gloss finish, and they assured her they could do it. I have my original receipt showing that 9 years previously I had ordered high gloss finish, Bruce flooring and now Above Board Flooring is trying to tell me Bruce never made a high gloss. They are refusing to give me the $1.26 per sq. ft I was upcharged for the high gloss finish and offered me only .40 cents per sq. ft. I've been told over the phone by both Andrew (owner) and Netta (receptionist in their Pineville location) 3 different times that Mark Bishop, the salesperson who took over for Debra, would be contacting me. That hasn't happned and I've received no refund. My installation was in mid June. I think they're taking advantage of this senior citizen.

Bill and his team did a fantastic job refinishing our hardwood floors. I got quotes from a few…read moredifference companies. Bill was the only one who noticed that 2 of the rooms had different wood from the rest of the house. We were wondering why the floors in those rooms looks so much less damaged from the other floors. Once Bill pointed out where the new and old wood met we could easily see the difference. Bill's recommendation of not doing those two rooms saved us a lot of money. One of the other companies who gave us a quote had noticed that one of the rooms had a different floor, but not the 2nd room. They also said they didn't recommend only doing the old floor because the sanding would be hard to stop at the board change in the floor without going over. Not only was Bill's team able to sand up to the board and not go over, he was also able to match the stain color almost perfectly so the difference between the two floors doesn't stand out. To my further amazement, Bill's team was able to carefully remove all our baseboards and reuse them after the floor had been sanded and restained. They were so careful at removing the old nails that you can't tell! Even though cutting and installing new baseboards had been part of the original invoice, since they were able to just reuse the old molding, Bill removed another almost $300 from our bill! Bill's team was very friendly, knowledgeable and showed up on time every morning. Each day they made sure to turn off all our lights, close the doors and clean up any messes and tools. They also took a lot of care in sealing off our pantry, kitchen cabinets and covering our furniture in plastic so the dust cleanup was minimal. I would highly recommend LeBeau's Hardwood Floors to anyone who wants their floors to look like new again.

I started tracking my order and it showed a UPS label was created, after days I realized there was no movement. I called Walmart and sat on hold for 2 hours. A representative finally answered and gave me Carpet Queens name and phone number. I called and spoke to Dave the owner, he was apologetic. He told me he was short staffed and would ship my order next week. Finally, I see tracking movement and it arrived at my door- A 3 foot round rug!!
