From day one after completion grout was not uniform in color. Purpose of the regrout, as I explained to Larry, was to make all the grout the same color so there wouldn't be spots that looked "dirty" due to grout variations. Larry said No Problem. A week or so after job completed I called, Lucas came out, shrugged and said that's it. Lucas didn't care if it was still dirty looking in some areas and off color. Owner Larry didn't care either only referred me back to Lucas. I trusted from first experience which was not w/ Lucas, so my expectations were high. Very disappointing and perhaps this reveiw will help me get past how angry I am with them for taking my money and not honoring the quality of their work. Everytime I see the shower floor I think of Larry and Lucas and the scam job. Pictures attached show how some of the grout looks when dry. And not all grout is the same color when wet, either. Theirs was the second remodeling estimate. When Fernando left the house, my wife said "l like him." I did too. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and engaging. Plus, as it turned out, they had the better estimate. When we visited the showroom Susie helped us make sound decisions, but did so without taking over. She too, was friendly and knowledgeable. We installed a European style shower, which entailed tearing out the molded one-piece unit, cutting an appropriate opening into the existing drywall, and reworking the plumbing. They then framed a larger shower stall. But the most interesting part was watching the craftsmen lay the tile piece by piece. It seemed to be as much art as craftsmanship. The glass workers later came and took measurements for the glass. After about 10 days or so, they installed the glass panels and door. Everyone (Fernando, Susie, the tile workers, and the glass workers) did a superb job. Santi delivered as promised. Fernando estimated his part of the job (demolition, framing, tile work) would take about a week. It did. They arrived each day at about 8:30 and left at about 5:00. They covered our floors for protection and cleaned up their mess daily. Fernando even brought my wife flowers. The project is beautiful and functional. We could not be happier, and give Santi our highest recommendation.
