I just cannot take another underarm waxing session. It's too painful and difficult to find a good Esthetician. My friend went to this Salon and her results were wonderful! I hope my results come out as good as hers. Elegant Image is conveniently located in the West Side of Fort Worth. In a renovated shopping strip. The staff is really nice. The front desk clerk was super young w lots of pretty features. I think, she got her lips done here too. Her lips looked like she got fillers, real pretty. The Esthetician was a short Blonde with great skin and bling bling eyeglasses. She was very informative. My session went well. It was only 30 minutes. The gave me lots of details about Lazer hair removal. It hurts but, not as bad as I thought it would. It feels like warm rubber bands being popped on your skin with an instant cooling session immediately afterwards. There was some stinging and aches afterwards kinda like when you get your underarms waxed. The Esthetician has been doing laser hair removal for awhile however, she was being supervised by the owner because, I was a new client. The owner approved of her settings of the Lazer machine. In other words they were on the same page. This made me feel confident that knew what they were doing. Overall, I was satisfied with the first session. Most of the hair was gone and my underarms were lighter. My underarms had a like a razor bump finish similar to waxing. Check out was a little slow. They were training someone at the front desk. I went to Elegant Image for laser treatment several years ago. I was dissatisfied with the outcome of 6 visits. The technician told me I would probably only need 6 treatments. Didn't work! Based on a recommendation recently and a Groupon, I needed botox and some fillers. I went into Elegant Image and paid over $1100 for not BOTOX but whatever Chrissy used. I'm only guessing it was a cheaper version! It didn't work! I went back. And she gave me a little botox on my 11's and the bridge between my eyes, it's still there. I paid for filler that is non existent. I feel like I wasted $1100 ( and that was on Groupon) As of a month and a 1/2 ago the lines are my forehead are coming back. I've never had this problem anywhere else. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. Shame on me! read more

Disappointed in the failed laser hair removal from Elegant Image. I purchased a Groupon to have laser hair removal done on both of my "full legs" (thighs and calves). I was happy to hear I was the ideal candidate with extremely fair skin and dark hair, and I followed their instructions by keeping my treatments between 4 and 6 weeks apart. I completed my treatments back in July and I have seen absolutely no improvement. My ingrown hairs seem to have gotten worse - I didn't know that was possible?! My experience getting the laser hair removal was also poor. There are two different machines, and I was repeatedly put on the slower, more painful machine since they wanted to save the other to treat those with darker skin "in case someone walked in." I even asked to be scheduled on the quicker, less painful machine but was ignored several times despite the staff telling me that "they usually don't put people on this laser hair removal machine for larger areas since it's slow." The staff giving treatments were snippy with me when I pointed out my lack of results and they do not act like professionals. Stay away and buy elsewhere!!I will not be going back. read more

I bought a Groupon to have laser hair removal done on both of my legs. I kept my treatments between 5 and 6 weeks apart and completed the total of 6 treatments three months ago . . . And I'm sad to say that I'm pretty disapointed. I was told that I was an "ideal" candidate because I have a fair complexion and darker leg hair; however, I would say that only 10% of my leg hair has failed to grow back. I am SO thankful that we did not pay full price for the laser hair removal and I will not be going back. **Side note - Girls who give the treatments tend to "skip" areas as I had several large patches and lines of hair that never got treated. I will say that no one was ever rude or unprofessional and the "spa" area isn't amazing but always neat and clean. read more

Purchased a Groupon here for my mother and I for a microdermabrasion. When I made the appointment through the phone, they said they would email me the paperwork so I can save time before the appointment. I never receive the paper work. I completed it at the location through their iPad. The microdermabrasion started on time. I forgot our ladies name but she's brunette, nice, wore a north face jacket. She was very informative and nice, both my mom and i's microdermabrasion was less than 30 min, and I think it said it would be 30 min. The microdermabrasion was nice, not painful, but quick. I am not sure if it helped my face very much, I still have light scars, I know it wouldn't rid the scar completely but my face still looked the same as when I came in. read more

I'm so glad this place was advertised on Groupon for a laser hair removal deal! I had tried a few different places for laser hair removal, and discovered that all lasers are NOT created alike. (I know it sounds nerdy to research this, but I was spending $250 a treatment at some places, and not seeing the results I was told to expect. Not good!) I found I got the best results from the Candela GentleLASE laser, so I started only going to a spa that had that laser. But, it was a long drive (maybe an hour) from me. When I the Groupon for this company, I checked the website since they were so close to me ... and saw they use the GentleLASE! Even without the Groupon, the prices here are incredibly reasonable -- less than half what I'd been paying at the places I'd been going before, and a fraction of what I've seen at other places with inferior lasers. I see the same woman each time I go, and she's incredibly knowledgeable about the process and just makes you feel very comfortable. I wish I'd found this place from the beginning -- I would have saved a lot of time and money. read more

There are two reasons why this isn't a 5-star rating: One: finding the location is a bit confusing since the name of the business is different than the location. I would have found it much faster if I didn't have to call them to find out where it was. Two: I only had to wait for a moment, but it was because there was only one technician working at the time. Not only did she see all clients, but she had to answer the phone as well which I'm sure made her job more difficult than it should have been. Overall, the service was exquisite, the faces were friendly, and the facility was clean and very fancy. I would definitely go again. I called prior to purchasing since I had never even heard of laser treatment for toe fungus before. I was excited to finally get rid of my husbands and I had plenty of questions. They assured me it would take ONE treatment and even told me the story of a lady who had it for years and it went away after one treatment. When we got there they said multiple treatments are ALWAYS needed. There were a couple other things too that I was told but my point is it felt like they were just trying to get us in the door to upsell is their more expensive treatment packets. May have been an honest mistake from a new person, but if I had known I would have bought the multiple treatment packet instead of one on Groupon. I got a Groupon for a customized facial thinking I got an amazing deal. I was able to book an appointment the same week. However, upon receiving my email confirmation, I found that the facial would only be half a hour. It didn't specifically say on the Groupon how long it was, so it's my fault for assuming- still a let down though. The service itself would be good for a first facial or if you're in a rush. I've had a great experience at Elegant for laser hair removal. Got a legs package and it has worked great. People leaving negative reviews because it didn't work on their hair type neglected to do any research on their own prior to purchase. Right now it's going to work best with darker hairs and if you have that, it will work great for you. Girls at this salon are great and knowledgeable and I'd recommend totally! Not satisfied AT ALL! Purchased package of 3 laser hair removal for face & results were not good. i went back for two more hoping there would be a more noticeable different but not very much. Got rid of about 15% and turned some of my hair white. While she does have good rates of $50 per session not worth it, I would rather pay more. I am now attending another spa @ $75 a session and 3rd visit with about 50% removal. Also very difficult to get the recommended 4-5 weeks between, at times 6-7 because she (Krissy) only one who does them. I do have thick hair but I new spot's laser seems to be working, laser techs there did advise/inform me the strength in her laser was probably weaker and it would take more sessions for better results. I am glad I left before I wasted any more $$$ read more

I love how professional and personable the technician is. The shop is beautiful and very clean. I recommend them. You do have to make sure they don't rush through their laser treatment though. If they rush then you don't get all the follicles and it's not a cheap service. You want to get your money's worth. Their laser LIPo does not work at all. I told them that it didn't work and they told me that I needed to buy more treatments that the first four we're just so I could test it out. This place was a waste of time and MONEY. I highly recommend that if you want great results or somewhat moderate customer service that you go somewhere else. My boyfriend surprised me with a "groupon" for my birthday for 6 treatments for a bikini and underarms. The owner,Krissi, DID NOT tell me how important it was for me to stay on schedule with my appointments therefore my last two sessions where about 2-3 months apart (I was off doing military training). After I came back and went through my last sessions, I waited to see if it in fact it was going to work. Weeeeell, no I still have hair in both areas and basically threw about $600 in the trash. I called Krissi to explain the situation and to see if there was anything she could do for me, and help me, she responded with "no, you can't skip appointments, and I promise I told you." Well then why did you reschedule me in the first place, and not explain the consequences?! And how can you promise someone that with all the customers that you have?! Even the government works around the military, and you're telling me you can't help me???!! If you're reading this PLEASE do your research and find a better laser hair removal, I would hate for someone else to go through the same disappointment I went through. I would never recommend this place to anyone. First of all it is NOT A SPA and elegant it is definitely NOT. It's a tiny room with a laser machine. I got my first treatment and developed hyper pigmentation on my face. I waited a couple of days and called Krissy the owner who pretty much was not happy that I was calling her about this issue. She told me to have my husband who is a physician to call in a prescription for Hydroquinone which a substance that is banned in the state of TX. I called several pharmacies and they all told me the same thing. I kept my appointment for a 2nd visit so that I could discuss with them what had happened. The minute I told the tech she got really defensive that she never put the laser where I had the hyperpigementation. She went to say that you may have already had it, at which point I said that I did not have it before I got the laser. I then said that so you think it was a coincidence that I just got this after a laser treatment and she said yes!!!! At this point I was irritated with her attitude. She wanted to go to lunch and was walking out of the door as I got there so was not in the best of moods so she decided to treat patients/customers that way! She said she would cover my eyes with different glasses this time, but i had decided with that attitude I would not have them touch me so I asked to talk with Krissy who came in and said yes it could happen and she would recommend the banned substance, and that a lot of her customers are using it. I don't know where they are getting it from because I cannot get it. And then she said that I would not do laser on the face since it caused the pigmentation which the tech did not tell me. She was focused on pretty much being defensive that it could even happen!! What a shoddy place with staff that is incompetent and rude! Being in the medical field myself I would never address a patient's concerns the way they did. I ended up getting a full refund from living social and told them of my bad experience and will also report to the BBB. And she charges $50/session so to spend $149 for 3 sessions as a groupon or living social is not a deal. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go to someone reputable. I will now be using a dermatologist with a MD behind their name!!! And not some nurse as she claims who bought a machine and treating people that way! What a JOKE of a place. I have not experienced such bad customer service as I did here. I will now have to spend money trying to rectify the issues on my face!!! And then on top of that she recommended that I could try Nerium which has shown to reduce hyper pigmentation. This is a product that costs a ton of money and she is trying to sell it to me because it would make her money. It's a product with a pyramid type system if you are selling it. Yeah...I was not going to fall for that and try it! DO NOT GO THERE!!! And the tech there is the worst in customer service I have seen who was more concerned about her lunch at 11am than treating a client with an issue. I purchased a Groupon last week for $47 for two airbrush spay tans. Called last week and made an appointment for 12:30 today and then again for Friday. My wedding is Monday we fly out on Saturday. When I got there at 12 today the shop was clean and the staff was friendly. Then she said her equipment was broke and suggested I get a refund on the Groupon, which I can't do because I purchased it more than 3 days ago.... she was supposed to call me today to let me know how long it would take to repair the equipment and I've yet to receive a call back..... I know she had an appointment at 11 because I asked for that space first. Just wondering why I didn't get a call to reschedule sooner, I took half a day off work!! And again no call this afternoon regarding the equipment. I made the staff aware of my wedding date when I scheduled the first appointment and brought it up again today. Elegant started off great. I purchased the groupon for laser lipo for 4 treatments. Starting out I never received a confirmation text until my 3rd treatment I had it scheduled at 10 but the text said 11. After waiting 45 minutes the nurse across the hall went in to let her know I was there. Another lady came in and it put her time behind as well. So I told the lady she could go before me since I did not have any appointments after my treatment. The staff member came to tell me my appointment was at 10 so I showed her the text conformation for 11. But was ok with rescheduling. Now my 4th treatment had to be reschedule because of the weather and the office being closed. On that morning I called and left a message and received a call back saying the office was closed due to the weather and we scheduled for Wednesday. Now Wednesday I called to confirm my appointment because some businesses was still closed. She confirmed they were open. I showed up on time and after 20 minutes I asked if the staff could let them know I was there. The staff member tells me that I did not reschedule. Now on my call log it shows that I called 3 times. And they called me back. Then I was told that someone else called and rescheduled for Wednesday but told me they didn't call me. So you telling me you called everyone but me on Monday. Then the lady Rachel was so rude and disrespectful after seeing my call she would not accept the fact that they messed up. I politely got up and left. This company made me feel like my time was not valuable. The only one that respected my time wS the nurse that gived the lipo shots. But Rachel did call and correct the situation. read more

Krissy and others here are very personable and know what they are doing. The laser system they use is SO MUCH better than other places. Virtually pain free, fast cool and comfortable. I paid more at a fancy place downtown that was not as effective and they coached me wrong on pre-laser dos and don'ts and spread goop all over me, took a long time. Monday 5/18/15. I had appt scheduled for 10:00 am. One lady was in her room on her cell phone, the other busy. It was apparent that the young lady on the cell phone was who I assume, my tech. She came out, informed me, I needed to fill out paper work with health info.I informed her I came in last Fri and did all this with their nurse practitioner. She then went and asked the lady next door when her next appt was. Sitting down at a computer, the two ladies proceeded to talk about their work schedules, asking one to work Sat. for her. After 25 min. my tech informed me, I had to reschedule to Wed appt. I looked at my watch. 10:30 and nothing. They are UNPROFESSIONAL, not up on the new client information and totally wasted my time that I took off of work for. Do not and will not reappoint. Cancelling all appts with them.
