I had sometime to kill before a meeting, and thought it would be nice to get my toes done. I typically go to a nail salon in DTSP, but I hadn't been a while and thought a freshening up was in order. The salon was fairly busy for a Thursday evening. The back door to the storage room was open the whole time and it smelled a little funny. The nail tech did a good job, but the massage was super quick and the whole experience maybe lasted 30 minutes when I'm more used to 45+. The gel paint peeled after about a week. I NEVER leave reviews. lf I could give 0 stars I would! This place was so bad I am taking the time to review it. it's that terrible. First, I asked for OPI Linkin Park After Dark and while the bottle said the correct color my toes were blue. It is supposed to be a dark almost black color. I'm not sure if they added something to make it last longer? Now 3 days later my gel nail polish has chipped. I was on vacation and to save time had my nails done in Florida. At my regular salon my gel polish consistently lasts 3 weeks. Sometimes 4 weeks since I get a French Manicure. What really gets me is I paid $10 more than my salon at home for CRAP!!!! There are plenty of others to choose from in this area. I would never go here again. read more

I've been coming to this salon for a few months and the lady I usually see clearly acted like the last thing she wanted to do was my nails so this new tech did my manicure, TERRIBLE. She clearly was not trained well and had to redo multiple nails during the appointment due to messing up the color. After only two weeks, the SNS broke on two nails. At first I was a bit nervous since I'm super duper picky about my nails but Lina (Angelina) hooked it up with a nice massage pedicure and SNS dip powder manicure. She's great but she also spoke really highly of her colleagues so I guess you can't go wrong with anyone working at the shop. It's a little plain on the outside like the rest of the stores in the plaza, but the shop is really clean indoors! I've seen terrible dip powder jobs on some girls in different parts of the country so I was hesitant that I was going to find someone good in Florida while visiting my mom, but I have to say that I'm really satisfied with Lina's work! She was also really nice and offered me water as well. Total came out to $65 not including tip! $40 for the nails & $25 for the toes (single color, plain pedicure). This was a total steal since I usually pay around $60 for just a gel manicure or dip powder manicure in Cali/NY. I tipped my girl fat because she did a nice job (well over 25% - you gotta respect the hustle), but the standard is generally 20%. This is a nail salon tucked away in a plaza. Doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it's much bigger. Was looking for a salon that had a variety of SNS and thy have it! The color selection was great since I love a nice big selection (the have about 100 colors). There was no harsh chemical smell, it did not smell like a typical nail salon which was nice, and decoration was simple, clean and elegant. Lee the owner and his wife where super nice. She threaded my eye brows and upper lip. They understood that I just wanted them cleaned up and no thinned out and they came out perfect! Not even a hair I had to pluck away like I usually do! I am converted to threading! My nails turned out great and as did my eye brows. I am very impressed with this salon and will definitely be coming back together done over and over again. You may not think anything great could come from a "strip mall" nail place, but they provide a great service at great prices. The owner is super friendly and constantly improving the salon to ensure his customers have the best experience. I have gone to many of the girls to get the SNS dip done when I used to get gel and I LOVE it! Place is really clean, I notice all the nipper and tools are wash after each customer and they use a pedicure plastic liner for each customer. After reading several reviews I was still hesitant to try this business. I walked in and was greeted. They took me right away. However, the skill level of the tech was below par. I have been getting gel manicures regularly for 5 years and acrylics before that. The tech was a mid-aged person. The way she handled my hands was awkward. She removed my gel with a Dremel. Using large pieces of cotton balls she soaked off the rest. She did not use cuticle cream or oil. She did not cut my cuticles. She filed awkwardly and cut my nails too short after asking me was 1/4 off o.k. The manicure part of the process was not what I was accustomed to. She applied the gel and base coat, also awkwardly and a bit sloppy. I'm am not sure how much experience she actually had but she conveyed to me that she had once owned her own salon. Overall the experience was sub-par. read more
