I've visited this place three times now, and each time, my nails start to peel about four days later. I also brought my daughter in for an eyebrow wax, but they turned out really crooked. She was so upset and cried on the way home in the car. I felt so bad! Additionally, I noticed that they don't use new, sterilized tools for each client. I'm disappointed because the staff is very nice, and I want to support a family business, but I won't be returning. read more

I believe this was the salon I visted about 3 or 4 years ago and the technicial put the dip gel on my nails...what were supposed to last way longer than regular gel nails. I was back in day or two to have them fixed since they chipped off within a day. So I spent another hour or two while the kid tried to fix them. He didn't. I went back last week and just got the gel nails and toes with regular polish. The gel, a week later, has alrea;dy chipped and that's with using gloves to wash dishes and doing no other heavy work. That is with a $60 dollar cost!!!!!!! I am not ever going back to them. Before I got to Florida, I got three weeks by a technician in VT for $50 and I think that's fair. I'll have to try someone else next time. This seems like a ripoff. read more

Tina's response to an unhappy customer. She seemed to think I'm a bitter & angry person. I'm actually a Nice person/ ex customer. I did write I'm am shy & embarrassed to keep having to go back each time there done. I have to go back to get my nails repaired the very NEXT day. Who wouldn't??? When people actually observe how her interest is pretty much on who next will walk in & spend money. Especially while the drill tool is being used on your nails. Again, paying attention to your customer may prevent having to go back the Next day to have them repaired. It's a total inconvenience, & shouldn't happen 3 times!!! I believe by her come back comment , she obviously is not humble enough to accept a customer is telling her that she Needs to improve her mistakes. Again hopefully her Dad can help her with attitude. A business person, would learn from this. Not accuse a paying customer, their bitter & angry! Nails can be pretty expensive, while keeping them up. Therefore a customer should get what they pay for. After 3 times, I told her , her tip was given 3 dollars LESS. If all is true on there advertising tv they have, then again take care of a customer the 1st time!!! Not 3 times in a row!!! At my 2nd visit, she put 2 different designs on my ring fingers. NEVER in all my history has anyone made that mistake!!! NOT paying attention!!! When someone thinks she's soooo good, we'll instead of living up to that , she takes it as someone " puffed up with pride " Again she's young & trying to run a business. Maybe taking more time & watching her Dad, she may learn a thing or 2 ! She obviously can't even take CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. I hope again she can humbly take All this to heart! read more

I went for a manicure with powder dip. I should've learned from last time that the "'manicure" is a misnomer. No cuticle work at all. Also, they messed up on color somehow (I could not understand her explanation) and I ended up with a manicure color I do not like. It took me a bit to realize how different it was from what I wanted. Needed to see it in broad daylight. Also, the color is so far from my cuticles it looks like it's already grown out. Also, when I got home I realized that she had left some gel on the tip of one of my fingers. It is like trying to get super glue off. Never again. Ps, she (Mia) took a phone call during manicure. Update: last week I stopped in on Saturday for a pedicure. You're too busy. So i booked an appointment for today at 215. At 210 I arrived, and Tracy was JUST starting a pedicure, not mine. I walked out. If you're not going to honor my appointment, you lose my business! You're dead to me. My first visit today, with Tracy. Deluxe pedicure. She listened to what needed, short toe nails, without judgment. She took her time, and did a great job. The color came out great. Cannot wait for next visit. read more

I've been on a hunt for a new nail place for a long time. There's so many salons in the area, it's hard to know which one is best. I drove by and Creative Nails caught my eye on a whim. I happened to need a manicure so I decided to try them out after reading the reviews. This time I tried something different, the dipping powder manicure. It's $35 and they have a TON of colors to choose from. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The gal who did my manicure stopped a few times to ask if I liked them or wanted anything done differently. I really appreciated her checking in! The environment is nice also. Almost 3 weeks later since my visit and my nails still look good, which is way longer than they would have lasted at other places. I have been going to Creative NailsII in Dunedin for many years. It is a family-owned business that does excellent work. When you sit down opposite one of the nail techs or owners like Jimmy or Mai, you know that that person cares about you and will make your nails perfect. You. Will be treated as if you are very important. The owner is rude and always rushes, I've had him a couple times and I'm done. Had a mani cure added to my set of nails he got my whole thing and feet too with a supposed massage done in exactly 38 minutes had no problem charging me extra and it was the worst. My edges where awful and my nails lasted less than a week before one cracked another snapped right off and one chipped a half moon on a weak point. His wife is always nice but he runs a sweat shop and assembly line. Sad thing is that I'm an excellent tipper but only when I'm treated nicely. I'm shopping other places. Clean, organize, price is acceptable Owner rude and needs to have more patience I did SNS nails. My tech was Tina at 1st very sweet, but a customer walked in to do wax so she left me without saying a word and the owner kept removing my old sns, tina came back and another walk in showed up then the owner started rushing her, and was dipping 2nails at the time making the results with bumps, after SNS i decided to paint my nails on top with a nude, but i wasnt sure which to apply, im medium dark skin and i wanted to make sure it was not too dark for me. Another customer walked in for a wax (chin) so i told Tina to take care of her while i take care of child. When she came back tried 1 color and i wanted to try a 2nd and her reaction was "YOU NEED TO DECIDE BECAUSE I HAVE AN APPT CUSTOMER HERE" which i answe anybody else and paint the nails, she said "everyone is busy, so which u want" i believe thats very rude. But she was very nice at first and i paid before having nails painted and gave her 8 dollars tip. She got her tip, was rude, took take of 2 customer at the same time. I had my eyebrows done bYVanessA Johns wife n it was a catastrophe. She was suppose too microblade my eyebrows and instead tattooed them. On one eyebrow she gave mE two eyebRows which I am patiently waiting for to fade Enough so that I may do them correctly. Hannah did my gel manicure and regular polish pedicure. She was very fast, which isn't always a good thing. Gel chipped after a week, none of my nails were cut or filed the same :/ This review is for Hannah only. The space is large, tons of pedicure massage chairs, prices are right on. ***UPDATE: The owner, Tina, reached out to me and offered to correct the situation by giving me a free gel manicure. The guy who did my nails was very rough as he was taking off my old gel polish he was scraping my nails and filing them but he was hitting my cuticles every time. He was filing my nails but hitting my cuticles so much that they started feeling raw two of them actually started to bleed. He was a nice guy but unfortunately was too careless . I felt like he was just trying to get it over with instead of giving me the service I was paying for. There was literally no one else in there waiting either. So there wasn't even a need to rush. He continued to be rough and moved my hands around kind of abruptly. Then at the end the massage lasted 20 seconds on my right hand and because I had a hair tie on my wrist he only massaged parts of my hand. Then on the other side he actually went up my forearm like Normal but only for 20 seconds as well. It was very odd. I got a French gel manicure and you can see the scrapes on my nails from when he was scraping them earlier. I had high hopes. Overall the salon was nice, nothing fancy but clean.
