Elements Massage in Camp Hill is a wonderful place to get a massage or any type of therapy you may need. After a car accident, my family came here for massage therapy. The massage I received was excellent and certainly made me feel better. The customer service was superb. My masseuse was very sweet, the receptionist was friendly, and the owner came out of his way to make conversation with us. They treat you like family. We booked an appt for my wife who was recently diagnosed for breast cancer. She is scheduled for the first surgery next week and yet the massage therapist (Karen) refused to do a relaxing massage for my wife. Because the massage would make it worse as she said. Which made my wife twice as upset about everything going on. My wife hasn't had any treatments or anything done yet as it starts next week. You would think a place that caters to women would be more understanding about the stress of what my wife is going through. Thank you for making my wife upset over something that was supposed to relax her and calm her down before the surgery and treatments. read more

What a great idea to have a chain of elements massage in camp hill, I made an appointment here for a couples massage. They called me about 4 days later to let me know they had a scheduling conflict and someone else has an appointment just booked at that time. I told them I was getting married and wanted a massage, etc. she said we had to move to 6pm??? Very late. Unfortunately this interaction rubbed me the wrong way, I went to hand and stone in camp hill. I understand scheduling conflicts but I booked first before the person who booked that day. read more

I had hurt my back and I specified on the phone that I needed someone strong for deep tissue (the only solution to work out the knots). After I arrived, I used the restroom, had a chat with the therapist about the problem and disrobed. During the massage, I kept asking for more pressure instead of the gentle application of oils that she was doing. Toward the end of the massage, she told me she hadn't studied deep tissue yet. Then I noticed she stopped early. I asked about the time at the desk. She said they don't do the massage by the time but instead by a corporate session. So I got to pay them to use the bathroom, chat, disrobe, and pay them! When I complained, they offered me a discount on the next massage. Their corporate session is bullshit and their service, regardless of what you asked for, you get what they want to give you. read more

This place was great. Truly helped me relax and enjoy my time there. I did the aromatherapy massage, the massage itself was great, but with the aromatherapy added I thought the room will smell and I will relax more. That did not happen, you actually hardly smell the aromatherapy. Therefore, I would just recommend a regular massage. read more

I went to Elements in Camp Hill, PA yesterday for a much needed massage. I had suffered a migraine earlier in the week which always leaves me achy and stressed. I had a very good massage therapist who was very friendly and did a good job. The massage was nice and was effective right up until I reached the front desk to pay for the services. A very generous friend had given me an Elements gift card. When I presented it as payment for my massage, it was rejected. When I first presented the card, I was asked, "Where did you buy this?" Well, I'm not in the habit (and doubt many people are) of buying themselves gift cards. It turns out that you have to use the gift card at the specific spa in which it was purchased. The woman at the front desk pointed at the serial number on the back and told me that the letter at the beginning of it indicated in which spa it was good (in this case a Q - which meant nothing to me). I never took the card out of its holder until I was in the spa and paying. The amount of the gift was on the front, and I thought this was all I needed to know so it never occurred to me that there were limitations on its use. These spas are franchised and they do not play nicely with each other. When I got home I went to the elements.com site and found that I can purchase a gift card there - where it will be good I don't know. While I can go online and purchase a gift card, I cannot go up the street to purchase one to send to a friend elsewhere who has a spa near them. I was left paying for a massage in a week where I could not afford to do so. I was very upset and did make the case that I can buy gift cards from many different franchise businesses that will be honored at other locations (using McDonalds as an example), but I did not push the issue there because I was truly upset over the financial implication this had for me this week and needed to leave. Today I tried calling to discuss this with the manager. While the manager was not there, the person I spoke with assured me that this is my fault not a problem with their business. I am very disappointed. If you have the cash and want a nice massage, this place is okay. I would not recommend purchasing a gift card for someone - they are likely to be stuck as I was. If you need any kind of customer service, you'll find that they are not accommodating. read more

This was the worst massage I have ever had anywhere. Simdri just moved her hands over me with no pressure at all. I asked her twice to increase the pressure, but to no avail. I felt more tension and aches when I left than when I arrived. Very stressful. Yuck. read more
