Your team met her at her house and helped her safely navigate the stairs using a chair lift. She could not be happier with the kind, professional, and caring team that helped her. There were two gentlemen assisting her--one was named Cameron and one named William. Both were absolutely fantastic. They were at her home between approximately 2:00 and 2:30 p.m., and I mention that in hopes that both individuals receive the recognition they deserve for their outstanding care and professionalism. They made sure my mom felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. They were quick and efficient while also being incredibly careful, checking on her frequently and asking if she was okay each time the chair lift moved. This is an unqualified, enthusiastic review from a delighted customer. (I also comment on one of the negative reviews below.) I learned of JHM when UCSF engaged them on my behalf to transport me from the hospital to a skilled nursing facility. The second trip was to transport me from the hospital to my home. I found JHM's people to be courteous, professional, serious, punctual, and highly competent. Even though I was recovering from surgery, I enjoyed both of my trips with them. They are also expensive, but if you want bedside to bedside service, a clean spacious van, reliable service, and two attendants, they are the way to go. JHM picked me up from my hospital room, where I was waiting for them, and delivered me to my bedside at the destination. They inquired at the destination facility's reception where my room was. My experience was very different from the experience of one of the reviewers. The representatives who have spoken to me on the telephone were clear, transparent, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. This includes the person I spoke to today, when I called JHM today to inquire about an item I lost almost 3 months ago. Part of JHM's professionalism is that they employ significant, thoughtful branding. The employees who picked me up and those who were waiting at the destinations appeared to be strong and fit, and they were dressed in sharp, but comfortable, black pants or jeans and black shirts. It was unmistakable who they were when they arrived. They have the appearance of ninjas. While this aspect of JHM's branding is not relevant to the quality of the service, it contributes mightily to the experience. As for one of poor reviews that complained that JHM did not take the medications with the patient: It is not JHM's responsibility to make sure the patient has everything that needs to be transported, such as medication. They transport what is given to them to transport or communicated to them to transport, nothing more. Use them. You will not regret it.

When I said the keys are in a Lynard around the passengers neck they hung up. They call me again in a few minutes and tell me they cannot open the door. When I told them it's a golden key I hear I the background there are two golden keys. I told them how hard is it to try both the keys. I was told I am rude. I told they don't need to do buisness with us and work with non rude people. in retaliation they dropped off the passenger at the location of pick up. Never bothered to Inform either. By the way the driver never calls its their admin ho is sitting in his chair with no clue about doors trying to act all knowledgeable. Fortunately, I had cameras at home to see that the passenger wasn't dropped off. Also, JHM was paid from Medi-Cal money which comes from taxpayers of california. There is zero accountability since seniors often times cannot voice their opinion. Look at the ethics of this transportation service. This is how they left leaving all gates open (image below). Didn't care on the safety of the house. This transportation should never be used by CEI participants. Onward still goes ahead and pays these companies from Medi-Cal money of the client. If they cannot close gates, how can we expect them to leave seniors safely. Tries to lie by saying that the customer was rude calling them stupid. A way to try to deviate their incompetence and arrogance. Unfortunately,, there is no option of zero star hence the one star.

We needed a medical transport with one month notice, wheel chair accessible van and Sunday service. I-Care Medical met my needs at an affordable price. On the day of our wedding, the van showed up to transport my father from the nursing facility to the country club and back. To my surprise, there was not just a driver but a nurse to ensure the safety of my father. My mother, who rode along with my father, felt confident and assured; they ease mother's worries. She asked me to tip them well. After the wedding, they safely transported my father back with the same care as he received to the venue. I'm an so graceful that I-Care was able to bring my father to a day my wife and I will cherish and remember when so many other transport companies either was too expensive, didn't have the wheelchair van available, didn't have the personal service or was simply not available for a Sunday. Only a "mom and pop" transport company can do this. I highly recommend them.

When I explained the same needs and concerns to the orderlies who arrived, they said they were not properly informed/prepared for this. A bad situation which I worked hard to avoid. I want to make it clear that the workers were professional, smart, clean, and in every way fine workers; they listened carefully, and were willing to argue with their management to insure my well-being. The problem was with the manager -- they were not concerned enough to listen carefully and think towards the correct solution(s), and they did not properly inform the men they sent.
