Have been trying every new church we can in North trying to find a new home and so far our first experience was great. Ran behind a little late but still stopped by the cafe for a pick me up and staff was insanely kind and loving, Leigh was so welcoming and the baristas were absolutely accommodating and friendly to say the least. They gave us a goodie bag with a book, coupon for free coffee, and a pen. Super sweet. The building itself is stunning, i love the atmosphere, and architecture. Service was great, even coming in a bit late and missing praise and worship, the sermon was actually something I could take home with me. I would love to hear more from the younger Pastors personally i took a whole lot home from the service and would love to hear more especially from Pastor Kila. Kids: I have been searching for new home for my toddler and we've tried a couple other churches in the area with childcare but my son genuinely enjoyed this place a lot more than the others. I loved that they actually had a plan for the kids, and my son is sensitive to singing and cries and Thank the lord they didn't sing for his age group! He actually spoke to the teachers and they let us know how he did, behaved and what they did during service. Lots of chaperones and he had lots of fun. We will be back. :)

I'm so incredibly disheartened to make this review. My family and I have been coming to ELC for years, but after last night's "Christmas at the Cathedral" I will not be back. A service that is supposed to be about the birth of Jesus and giving our lives and fears over to him became a political statement. Condemning democrats and those who do not follow the current conservative administration. But somehow in the same breath "the government won't control this church" There were many children in attendance, an event for friends and family to celebrate Jesus became about political views. I don't want to go to a church that believes in telling me and others how they should vote and what to believe. Stick to preaching about the word of the God!

Been going to this church for almost 7 years and I absolutely love it. I am a teenager and I serve in the kids almost every Sunday. I also attend youth every Wednesday night and I love the friends I've made and how much my connection with God has improved. I highly recommend youth for teenagers 6th grade-12th grade. It the best! The worship and lessons at the church are great and U wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Reading previous comments makes me wonder ... out the abundance of the heart , the mouth speaks . Some people have deep insecurities about finances as it clear that is what they choose to focus on. I don't know, I've been going to ELC for years now and never has pastor Keith called me to say , "pay up, you're due on your tithes!" I mean, I wish he would call me, that would be an honor. Jesus wants us to be in a place that teaches us the word of God with truth and dignity, and some topics might be hard to listen to, but that's life. We have to learn about finances and politics and giving and being good stewards of what God has given us. It's up to us to do what we know is right, let everyone else deal with their own righteousness, it's between them and God, not you. I love ELC, it's changed ours lives and we will be forever grateful to the Kraft family, every single of them brings something so unique and special that we all get to reap from. I invite you to join me for a Sunday service, come with me! Message me directly and you can my guest.

Terrible. The pastor used the "P" word this past Sunday at the pulpit. Watch it on YouTube if it's hard to believe. He could have used the word "sissies" instead. What a disgrace- no respect for the pulpit. I gasp thinking children might have heard this derogatory remark. I visited years ago. It's all about hype- not about truly getting to know God and his Word. The church is nice and the worship music sounds good, so it's easy to be fooled. Beware. Stay away.

We enjoyed their marriage class every Wednesday night. Pastors Buddy & Vicky are really anointed to do what they do.

As like listening to Bishop T. D. Jakes of The Potter's House of Dallas; there is a piece of me that enjoys sermons by Pastor Sheryl Brady of The Potter's House of North Dallas! Pastor Sheryl Brady, a lecturer, recording artist, and pastor at The Potter's House of North Dallas sermons not only speak to me but give me that inspiration that I yearn for from time to time. Allured by her energy, realness, and devotion to God. Pastor Sheryl Brady has a voice that coincides well with her sermons as well as will make you question her ethnic background. The congregation of this church is such a pleasure to watch as they give praise in front of its diverse audience. Jersey Sunday, or better yet known as Super Bowl Sunday, the day I put together this review, I adored the congregation of The Potter's House of North Dallas who came out wearing referee outfits while singing praise to the Lord. I hope to someday attend The Potter's House of North Dallas in person in Texas because the word, the praise, and the music of the Gospel leads me home certainly! ~Blessings~ Thomas G
