The entire experience is exemplary for me as a life-long Protestant. The quality of the music stretches my imagination.

My wife and I have been coming to Stonebriar for a while. We don't live close and pass a lot of churches to get there. Chuck was a great pastor and mentor, the music was great in preparing your heart to worship. Now it has gone semi-contemporary and we have "performers and performances" to entertain. Dr. Murphy is a great preacher. John Dill is a terrific organist and Priscilla is great. But it is turning into FBC Dallas and Prestonwood. The great falling away has reached Stonebriar CC. One of the last conservative assemblies of believers. It's overstaffed with too many pastors, associate pastors, and other paid positions. Ichobod is getting close to be written over the door. read more

Love coming here!! The music ministry and Chuck make Stonebriar on top of anyone's list. I happened to have read one or two Reviews saying it was not a friendly place and hard to meet people. I find this just the opposite. We get to church at 08:00 each Sunday, an hour before the Service. We thoroughly enjoy this special time to meet others and "fix the world". We have developed life long relationships with many of attendees. The choir and orchestra are on a level unsurpassed by any church I have ever attended. Don's selection of arrangements highlights the ability of both choir and orchestra. I totally enjoy his mixing of instruments that I would have laughed when hearing they are paired up. Today was my first visit to Stonebriar Community Church Frisco. It is a large Church but with "small Church" friendliness. I arrived well before 9am. In the first 10 mins at least 5 people were quite friendly. I did not attend the service. They have many mid-size groups meetings at 9am and 10:45am. I attended two different mid-size groups this morning. For the first group, the content was excellent, and their warmth was exceptional. The second group was very warm and friendly as well. The intended Teacher/Leader could not make it. Someone else stepped in to lead/teach on the fly. He did a great job. There is something very special about this Church. Very impressive. read more

We love this church! We try to come here as much as we can. If only we live closer we'd be here every Sunday. The church is huge. I like their choir and orchestra. Especially during the holidays when they have a special production and they play different instruments. I like the good old feel of church in here. We don't get that too often anymore. My family and I have attended to Stonebriar for at least 5 years. It's been awesome attending there! Esp. when the new building was built. Stonebriar has 3000+ members plus the many visitors who come. Yeah...it's a pretty big church! I grew up in a very small baptist church of at least 100 people so this is a huge adjustment compared to what I grew up with. There are many things I love about this church: People, Fellowship, Music, Worship, Sermons, and Teachings. People and Fellowship: For our church size it's really hard to get connected or get to know people. And if it's hard to get to know people then it's also hard to fellowship. There are many classes on Sunday and groups anyone can attend. It's the best way to get to know people and also to enjoy having a fellowship. My sister and I joined a class is just on the first day we got to know 20 people! It was awesome! Music and Worship: If there's anything that helps my heart become hungry for God it's the music! Every week there's different music and different types of music. They have a full orchestra and full choir that makes such a powerful, strong message in music! I enjoyed the music a lot and LOVE it! There's also singing Hymn and praise songs to worship but if it wasn't out of the heart it wouldn't be worship. There's also many other ways to worship such as just listening to the sweet sounds of the music and taking it to heart! Not only do I just come to church just to experience that, but it also helps me to grow and continue strong for God! Sermons and Teachings: Chuck Swendoll is our pastor and he has spoke very powerful messages! I just love it! Last week after hearing the sermon, I felt convicted in my heart and it just inspired me to dig deeper in the Word. I know not many people experience the same as I did but it really depends where your heart is at! Not only are the Sermons amazing but the teaching in classes are awesome! The class my sister and I are in has a great teacher and has very direct, right to the point teachings. The thing I like about the teachings is his logical thinking in the Bible and the insights he gets from it! It gets me thinking too! I LOVE IT! read more

Chuck preaches the word of God Innoway that's easy to listen. The music is fantastic at his church. I listen online. It's the best church service I've heard. May God bless this wonderful church. If you live in Frisco, you will be blessed by this church in their ministries. read more

Great church. Unfortunately kids activities fill up quickly so you have to register early or they run out of room. There are tons of kids activities and many different ways that adults can get involved with this church. I like this church a lot and could not imagine going anywhere else. read more

Community Church (non-denominational) in Frisco, TX that teaches and interprets straight from the Bible. Great atmosphere and the services provide a great mix of traditional organ-led hymns paired with inspirational messages from Chuck Swindoll and others. It works very well with my wife and I who were raised in the church differently - myself coming from an ELCA Lutheran upbringing while she was more of a Baptist / Bible Church upbringing. So glad we found this place together! read more

We love Stonebriar Community Church! We have been coming here for 4 years ever since we moved to Little Elm. At first I was intimidated because I have never gone to a church that is so big, but since Chuck Swindoll was the pastor we figured we would give it a shot. We are a young married couple and finding the right church home was so important for us! Our first time there we were welcomed in the parking lot, at the doors, and during the service. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and it shows the great love of being part of Christ's family. We also attend weekly bible studies and they are smaller groups - both the women's and men's studies are great groups where we can really dig deeper into God's word. I also volunteer in the children's ministry on Sunday evenings at Awanas. It's a wonderful program and the kids have so much fun! All the volunteers work so well with the kids of all ages and it has been rewarding to see the children learn and grow with other kids over the course of the school year. Stonebriar is a true community and a showcase of a church family. I'm so thankful we found a church home! read more

I have been attending Stonebriar Community Church since before we had a building. The bible teaching goes deep and it really feels like you are learning from a very well read Pastor. Chuck Swindoll was the head of the Dallas Theological Seminary for years so it is not surprising that he is so knowledgable. Every single sermon is moving. The classical music takes my breath away. read more

This church is amazing. The pastor is SO gifted and respects the word of God. He studies the scripture and helps his congregation to understand and apply it. Chuck is a very intelligent man. He is a tell it like it is kind of speaker and doesn't worry about offending anyone because it's what we need to hear. I appreciate that so much. The music is like being in a symphony each week. This isn't a rock n roll church, this is a classical hymn loving, full choir and orchestra set up, and to say it's awesome is an understatement. Get involved in a bible study or sunday school and you'll get plugged in quickly with a great group of fellow believers. There are so many activities for the kids as well from children's choir to AWANA and Wednesday night live. Great church; it looks big but feels much smaller. :) read more
