Love love love this church and location. Came in from Oklahoma to hear Pastor Furtick and I was not disappointed. So different and more uplifting than being online. When he came to Oklahoma I had tickets but couldn't go because we were in our storm shelters because of tornados that evening !

It has been on my bucket list to go to Steven Furtick's church for a while now! He as as good in person as he is on YouTube! Everyone was very friendly and my son had a blast in children's church! He keeps asking me to go back!

This was a bucket list to do! We arrived 30 mins prior to service starting (perfect amount of time). First timers get special parking and a gift after service at the welcome center (Black tent). So many greeters welcomed us as we walked inside and I truly felt welcome. We waited a few minutes in line before entering. The worship experience was like a Fishfest concert- AMAZING! Filled with the Holy Spirit. There restrooms are clean and even stocked with mints and lotion, the whole nine. The heart breaking disappointment was Pastor Steven Furtick wasn't preaching today (we were really hoping to meet him and Holly). But, his guest Pastor pierced my heart with his message on consistency and stacking strength. I'm honored to be able to attend Elevation church today! What a treat!

This is my church! I've been watching online for 2 years & finally got in my car and drove from Florida to NC to attend in person. What a wonderful experience that I would not trade for silver or gold!! It was pouring rain but a volunteer still met me as a first time guest in the parking lot & helped me To the front door. The worship was angelic & the message that Pastor Steven's wife Holly delivered was just amazing. Of course traveling that far I was a little disappointed that Pastor Furtick didn't preach but at least he was in the building. Maybe next time. As I was leaving I stopped by the first time visitor location & Andrew & Janice Armstrong greeted me with warmth & a VERY powerful prayer over my life I'll never forget! Thank you if you ever see this! I plan to visit again in the Spring & I'm praying about moving to be able to attend weekly (pray with me) If You get the chance to visit do it! It just might change your life! I love elevation & Pastor Furtick!!

My family and I traveled from California to experience the worship. We watch online all time. We were blessed to hear the word of God from the worship Pastor Wade. His message hit me and met me where I was. The worship was amazing with a great tribute to our fallen troops. Do not miss your opportunity while on this East Coast to attend church here. They make you feel welcome from the moment you enter the parking lot.. as for parking it wasn't as bad as they make it sound and arriving early was great 30 min and you should be set. We attended the 9:30 Sunday service

Ask the Community - Elevation Church - Ballantyne

Hi everyone! I'm finally going to be in charlotte for my first time to see Pastor Steven the weekend of Fathers Day! I just wanted to make sure he was going to be speaking!? And if you anyone has any first timer advice! Thank you all so so much!

Hi I am just wondering if you could provide any of that information since attending? 🥹 I am making a trip to see my father in law and would LOVE TO attend thank you

What time and location does Furtick preach from on Sundays?

    Ballantyne @9:30 AM

Does Steven Furtick still do Sunday church in person or on live stream?

    In person and live stream!

Is this the location Steven Furtick preaches at? I thought so and am trying to catch one of his services but the website has a different pastor listed...

Yes! Steven preaches at the 9:30 service.

My family & I are coming from Ohio, & are looking to visit this summer. I know it'll be a bit of a drive, but we're looking to go to the beach the next day. Any good (and semi close) suggestions of a beach to visit after leaving church?

The NC and SC beaches are absolutely beautiful!!! Yes Florida beaches are awesome but you can't go wrong with NC beaches!! That's why it's called the crystal coast and so many come from all over the country to visit, there was some murky water in… Read more

Do they have a Day Care center?

They have child care called EKidz . It's nursery through maybe 5 or 6 year olds .

We will be visiting in a couple of weeks. Is there anywhere specific as far as seating for visitors ? I already filled in the form and got response that they will be saving us seats.

You better have an extra hour or hour and a half to get in and out of the parking lot

We're coming to Charlotte for the first time and since we're only there for one service; can anyone confirm that pastor Furtick preaches Sunday morning here?

Yes he preaches Saturday evening at 5:00 and Sunday mornings 9:30 & 11:00. Keep in mind this weekend time changes!

Hello! I wanted to know at what time does Pastor Steven Furtick preach and on which days, if possible. Also, how much earlier should I arrive to this location to get in?…

Hi There, 5pm on Saturday, 9:30 & 11:30 on Sunday. He's usually at the Ballantyne location with a few occasional visiting pastors from time to time. I would suggest getting there 30min before start time and as you turn into the parking lot, put… Read more

I love that you see a diversity of ages and families in the church. And then the service closes with another worship song. The Southpark campus pastor, Jonathan Scott is also awesome and will preach when David is away, etc. The church has small groups called "Life Groups" and you can get connected at any time, but check the website for "Life Group Connect" where you can meet all the life group leaders and get plugged into a group immediately. There is a wonderful children's ministry during the service and middle school/high school meet Sunday nights for what is called "Advance" If you are visiting or new to the church, stop by the info booth and they will answer any questions you have.

Our community of friends are associated with Forest Hill through our life group and we will be co-leading a new life group in a few weeks, something we are very excited about. When it comes to elements of value, the teaching is gospel-focused, intentionally grounded in the bible, and completely God-centered. The worship is reverent, fun, talented, and God-focused. There is a real sense of love for God and a desire for authentic community. Two things my wife and I must have in our choice of a local spiritual family. However,…read moreafter visiting and engaging in several fellowships over the past 20+ years of living in North Carolina, Watershed has found a home in my heart since 2011. Why? They don't pretend to have all the answers and they are comfortable with a God who is at times mysterious, frustrating, and hidden. Matt and Scott (co-pastors) share speaking duties and have remarkably crafted a relationship with God, their families, and each other that is transparent and void of internal competition. I like that. I rarely come away from their talks without something in which to wrestle. I take comfort in knowing I am both loved by God and encouraged to drop anchor and fish this spot I'm in a little longer. When I slow down, I've discovered it is there I might feel the tug on my line and hope there is something bigger on the other end (pardon the fishing metaphor).
