Because there were special needs kids present, the door was kept locked most of our visit to prevent a child running off. Safety first! They had a sign offering drop off, but it stated they are not a licensed daycare. So if you need to run an errand without your kids, they would certainly have fun here! There was a summer camp program going on while we were there. The child with the highest level of needs had someone following him the entire time. We came to Lake Charles from out of town and needed to waste time in the middle of July with three small kids. Air conditioning is a requirement this time of year. I had heard of the New Orleans location and was familiar with the concept, so when I saw this listed with "things to do with kids in Lake Charles," we decided to give it a try. I could not recommend a better place to waste the day if you have little ones. I never could have imagined how much fun my kids were going to have. I had an amazing time as did my adult cousins who were with us for this trip. We just all had such a wonderful time. There is a short zip-line, definitely a favorite of my 3 & 4 year olds. Behind the zip-line structure were multiple kitchen/diner/grocery related toys, a grocery cart, etc. There was a huge metal frame in the center of the room with just about every type of swing you could imagine. The swings included: a gymnastic vault swing, a cloth swing, a plastic toddler swing, a carpeted plywood platform swing, a dual glider, a hammock chair, a saucer, a rope swing, and a tire horse swing. There was a train table, a bookcase, puzzles, magnatiles. A well padded, net-enclosed trampoline with a sign that allows for three kids at a time. There was a huge wooden monkey bar structure. A rock wall. Arts & Crafts. An infant area. And a calming room for kids who need down time. I loved that it was mostly quiet. Occasionally we would hear a Disney song playing, but often it was just the sound of happy giggles. We were welcomed and so enjoyed every moment of our visit.

After we got through it, we realized we messed up somewhere and had to start again. Not the end of the world but frustrating. We go to pay. The lady asks if we have socks and we said yes. Well because they weren't "Da Swamp" socks, we had to purchase for $3 a pair. I think it's a little misleading because on the door before you enter, it says that you must have socks. I feel Iike this is a selling tactic. So, $17 per child for 1 hour on an early Monday afternoon. Seemed a little steep. She also failed to tell us we had to wait until the new hour started. This inside is nice. There is an arcade area with air hockey, crank machines, and more. There is a rock climbing structure. I'm not sure if this is available for an extra fee or included. There is a dodgeball area with 12 trampolines (6 on each side). There are 2 basketball goals with trampolines in its own netted area. A large battle pit sits in the center of the room. One play area has a gigantic inflatable that kids can dive in to. And of course there are tons of connecting trampolines for wall to wall bouncing. They even have a smaller, secluded play area for younger children. There is a large viewing area upstairs with massage chairs and picnic tables. Restrooms are upstairs also.
