These services are all in high demand in the community and JFCS does a good job publicizing their offerings to make sure the people they serve know what is available. Today, we took him to TLE for the last time ever. He was only there for half a day, however he came back with a bruise on his neck, a large bruise on his forehead and small red dots on his face from crying so hard (something he has never experienced before no matter how hard he cries) My wife picked him up and no one was able to explain to her what happened to him. I then went back with him to find out what happened and I was told he probably banged his head on the door. Later I received a phone call from his teacher explaining that he fell from a chair and hit his head and she had to put ice on it. No incident report was filed, no phone call was made to us (even though we called during the day, clearly concerned about him and were told he's doing wonderful). I feel so guilty for taking my son there and wish I had trusted the feedback I thought I was receiving from him. I know kids will always get hurt. However my reason for never going back is how little they appeared to care. I can't trust them to do enough to prevent injuries and I can't trust them to respond appropriately once an injury has occurred
