I'm the one who asked for the estimate and initiated all the follow up. He would only respond after I asked. After he said he would do the job on a Friday I tested him on his word. That Friday came and went and heard nothing. On my last email to follow up, he again gave me a new start date and wanted to pick up a deposit check before he started. But, as I said in my last email (that you never replied to) I was nervous cutting a check because I was leading the project communications in this. I didn't 'feel' like I was. I really was. I have receipts. Anyway, I asked you in that email whether or not you would be ok if I gave a check when you started instead of before BASED on this pattern. No response. So, I don't know.
