Doug Dushan gave me a tour of the facilities and explained their capabilities and was eager to answer all of my questions. Their showroom is basically a mock up of what I'd imagine Tom Brady's house looks like. TVs everywhere. Speakers stealthily installed behind walls and in the ceiling. It was incredible. And then there's the home theater. Oh my god the theater! It's a 14 seat home theater that is straight out of Best of MTV Cribs (remember that show? With Master P living like a king?) He let me pick a few scenes of movies to get a vibe for what they can do, and needless to say, I was amazed. Their engineering appeared to be top notch. Doug took me back to where they would build and test my media server and the accompanying electronics before they would be installed in my home. I really appreciate this attention to detail. Most home theater outfits do much of the install at my home. Echo Systems does all of the pre-install work at their site so all the troubleshooting can be done there before it gets put in. Doug was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with my tsunami of questions. I'm sure I'll be using Echo Systems for my home video needs in the future.

In stead of saying "sorry we cant provide the $27.99 service so we will gladly cancel your contract" they told me we would have to stay with the $52.99 cel hookup or cancel and pay over $1,000 in penalty. All this after assuring us there would be no problem doing the $27.99 deal . When their installer left after his failed attempt the disconnected control box was left sitting on our counter. After spending a total of 13 hours on the phone with them, mostly on hold, the professional jerk decided he didn't want to talk anymore so hung up on me. This was in Nov. 2017. We didn't hear from them again until we saw a charge from ADT on our credit card for $3.78. I called on this and was told it was the balance due for January after applying the $99.00 install fee and the $102.00 payment we made in late Nov for Dec. I told them we had not been hooked up since Nov. She said they had no record our contract had been canceled. I called our credit card co and challenged the charge plus had any bill from ADT blocked. Same day we get a call from ADT saying their system check failed and asked what the problem was. Seems all the grief we were getting was from their dealer Protector out of Indiana. When our son visited the AT corp office in Omaha and talked to te man in charge and asked about the "6 month money back satisfaction guarantee" he whipped out a form and after filling in our act info said it should be handled in 3-4 days. That was 2 weeks ago and we have not herd anything from them. I a zero review rating was available that's what they deserve.

Upon installation (less than two days later), I explained to the technician, Chris Hutzell, the many discrepancies in the equipment selection along with the incorrect name listed on my account... In order to remedy this quickly and simply, Chris guaranteed ALL errors would be corrected within 48 hours and he would return with the proper equipment/provide assistance in making necessary account ownership/primary contact changes at that time. He was able to install video doorbell (defective), motion detector, three contact sensors on doors and touchscreen during installation on 1/20/2022. I've attempted to make direct contact with Mr. Hutzell via text to inquire about the status of this merry-go-round without any response or update. It's now Friday, January 28th and I'm still without the equipment I was promised not to mention paying for services/equipment I do not have (including the DEFECTIVE and INCORRECT video doorbell ((ADT device installed rather than Google Nest sold to me by Kenneth Leibold on Tuesday 01/18/22)). I've now spent hours on hold or being transferred between l different departments attempting to fix this, however I've been promised time and again that this WILL BE CORRECTED yet I've seen ZERO results. I was also informed on MONDAY by Account Support that my case was being escalated to the local ADT branch manager and someone would be in touch within 72 hours -- 9 MONTHS LATER AND I AM STILL WITHOUT HALF OF THE EQUIPMENT, CHRIS HUTZELL IS A LIAR.
