Just got in state Florida insurance coverage and needed my prescriptions ASAP. I got an intake appointment the same day I called and the first available in person appointment with a provider in under a week, plus a 7 day temp prescription to hold me over. Every single person affiliated with this group has treated me with the most kindness, dignity, efficiency, and expediency. I didn't know what to think of this group at first but I'm so happy I made the call. This is the best experience I've had with a Dr in a long time, especially for the types of medication I'm on, where there is all too frequently a negative stigma. Plus they take all my insurance!! Forget cash only clinics y'all - eff that. We deserve better. Elite DNA Behavioral will match you up with the provider closest to you that accepts your insurance and can best assist you. Had my intake call with Samantha Smith on February 29, 2024. Samantha was very helpful and courtesy. Of course, I had a problem. The computer said that I was not verified when I had my intake call with Samantha. But I finally got to make an appointment today on April 5, 2024. They are slow responding for a return call back. But from what the reviews said, that is part of the course. Counting on the psychologist and therapist to help me. I will let you know. My appointment isn't until the end of April. I have had a great experiences with both the Port Charlotte office and the Venice office Especially in managing medication!

You have to jump through hoops to get your records. I have been fighting to get disability and they have asked for records from Elite DNA for over a year. When I call they "transferred" me to their records department but the line gets disconnected. Call back again and another person tells me they don't answer their extension and it is easier to email them. I tried in January of last year to get the records as well that time I had gone to the office. They had me sign the release and they didn't send them at that time either. THE DISABILITY OFFICE NEEDS MY RECORDS!!!!! Oh and it took me six months initially to get an appointment right after my stay at Bayside with a referral and couldn't get in after hurricane Ian. read more

All the staff that I've come in contact with have been very caring helpful and polite. It's been a challenge for me to find the right psychologist and psychiatrist for me and I'm very comfortable with both doctors I see there. I would definitely recommend Elite DNA in Venice. read more

The communication is non existent with every single staff member and the front desk. I even called another location. I use email, the portal, call (the vm always says you have reached them after hours no matter what time of day it is). Hard to get regular apts so you wait weeks btw care and with no communication between I am about to lose everything. Looking for better options. read more

The individual providers are professional and empathetic. HOWEVER the corporate chaos and fiasco make it to worth your while to enter the maze of electronic directions. I don't think there are any people there. I will miss my therapist and PA. We've had a good relationship. read more

therapist was awesome trouble is trying to get scheduled. The stress and chaos of trying to get an appointment with the receptionist makes this company not worth it. My daughter opened up to one person and now that person has no availability to see her they want to move her around, she isn't a machine she is a person. They need organization and also need to answer their phones. I shouldn't have to call for weeks and leave countless voicemails to finally get through. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. The individual providers are professional and kind. The accounting system is the most confusing and ridiculous process. They will charge your card without your permission and without discussing this with you. They will deny that they are wrong and not correct the problems. The answering services are non-existent. No way to leave a voice message. Very vindictive and unprofessional people that work in the office. Sad, because, I really liked my counselor. The corporation is an LLC and there is no state regulation. No accountability and they know this. Because they are a corporate LLC they can charge the insurance companies for Specialty Services when the actual counselor you are getting may not be a trained Specialist (i.e., nurse practitioner or psychologist). They will rip you off if they can. Do your homework and check out all reviews. I do not recommend these services. read more
