What kind of counseling service would treat a potential patient needing help in this way? I am mortified. How sad for someone potentially suicidal and that is no joke. PS I am seeing all of the angry commentary on google from this office to those unhappy with how they were treated and all I can say is, how sad and bizarre that a counseling practice would behave in this manner. Somehow, someway I will figure out a way to report you to the proper medical boards. PPS I just read their response and although unable to respond, they are full of it. I explained that I have a broken foot and am unable to snail mail their forms. I asked if o could vero sign via email. Hager said they didn't have vero sign. I replied calmly that I did. It was then that he flatly said we were not a good fit. And the policemen who they sent over here after I made a hypothetical statement regarding "I can only imagine if someone were suicidal and you rejected them over paperwork matters" were very kind and empathic. Not once did they feel that I was lashing out. Instead they seemed to have understood my need for counseling and being rejected over menial matters. This guy Hager should not be in charge of communicating with people seeking counseling. He is a very mean guy. Please stay clear of this office. Awful!

On two different occasions she was 20 and 40 minutes late for my son's appointment. She allowed a medical student to participate in his session without my permission (he is a minor). I asked her to suggest a coping mechanism for dealing with his frustration and she said she only deals with medication. She then claimed, "I don't want to step on his counselor's toes," but the counselor told me they would work together! She is very slow about returning calls. At my son's previous session she said she would probably increase the dose of his medication at the next appointment, then today backtracked and said she didn't want to. One minute she said it was very low dose and then she said she's concerned about overdosing him. What a complete waste of money. Her initial intake appointment is over $600 and her follow ups are $230 for 30 minutes. We will find another psychiatrist that actually cares about my son and is affordable or accepts insurance.
