So I'm writing a lot because there aren't currently other reviews for this place on Yelp, and thought I should include things I would have liked to have known going it. The couple who run this business is super nice, and since we were visiting from out of state, the guy helped us finalize some sight seeing plans for Bryce Canyon (GORGEOUS in winter!) My husband and I were able to book back to back float sessions, each having to wait for the other as currently there is only one float pod. They have a great deal for $99 where you can get a massage and float session for an hour each, so while one person is floating, the other can get a massage. But you have to book in advance since they are short handed with only one full time masseuse (the wife) and one part timer. So we were not able to get a massage, but people raved about her. In the waiting room they have a book where people have written their experiences down about floating. The couch is pretty uncomfortable and not good for bad lower backs, especially when you are waiting an hour and a half. You also get to watch a video about what it's like to float and how to do it. Go early, you have to fill out paper work and initial a bunch of health stuff. Your body cannot be emitting anything gross. It's all in the paper work. You take a shower there before you get in, for obvious reasons, and one when you get out to rinse the salt off. They provide small slippers and a small bathrobe and towels. The shower had shampoo and conditioner. We were nervous about it, but reading the journal made me excited. They also have water, tea, (can't remember if there was coffee), coloring books for adults, and magazines. The float pods contain more salt than the Dead Sea, so that's cool. So you can float in your bathing suit or naked. They say doing it naked is weird the first time. We survived. Lol. It's VERY hard to stay still like you are supposed to, and hard to turn the brain off. They have lights and music that you can turn on and off from inside the pod (don't forget to turn off the room lights like I did,) to help you relax or turn off the brain. Most prefer lights off and music off, but being a bit claustrophobic, I had to have the lights on till I relaxed. And then had to turn the music on to shut the brain off, but the guitar music sounds screechy under water, so back off it went. Even though they provided throw away ear plugs. Also, maybe don't shave anything the day of - salt can burn a bit. Let your arms and legs float to the place they want to be, don't stop them. Three times we were each ready to get out. We got super antsy. But it's worth it to stay put. There were a couple of seconds here and there where it does kind of feel like what anti-gravity must feel like. Very cool feeling. Better than staying still, I enjoyed very gently pushing off the bottom and top back and forth, to get the sense of what it might be like to float between rooms on a spacecraft. They say the more you do float sessions, the easier and faster it is to relax. They also say you sleep better; we slept good that night, but not phenomenally. We did notice we seemed to have a lot of energy after our float session, though the video warns you may feel tired the first time from detoxing. Everyone's experience is different, but I'd say definitely worth it to try it out for $39 - better if you can get the packaged deal! read more

First time at a Float Spa. Pretty cool treatment. Pretty basic amenities, but I applaud their offering of this service.

Tried it for the first time on Saturday morning. My only regret was that I didn't do it in the evening so that I could go home and crawl right into a great sleep! I bought two certificates for friends that need to chill - ha! It was very relaxing and rejuvenating. I am going again! read more

I've been going to Brandi for massage for years now. Recently she opened the Elite Day Spa. Shortly after opening I tried the float pod, it was really cool, felt good on my low back and was amazingly relaxing. I'm looking forward to floating again soon. As far as massage Brandi is the best in Saint George she can always find the areas that are in need of deep work. I always leave feeling rejuvenated. Great value too! read more
