At first I felt good about…read moreBrian's capabilities and approach but then when the actual work began, red flags began to show up like, his worker was sick (never did show up) instead it was a young girl a couple of days, then a friend who was in between jobs. He installed the gutter a couple inches below roof line because of flashing that was in place made it harder to install. The last day of the install I actually helped him for a couple of hours because he had no help. So after he "completed " his install, I did a water leak test, 4 separate leak areas, pour draining in 4 areas, plus a downspout leak. Disgusted, I spoke to another gutter contractor, purchased some quality gutter seal, and patched the leaks. I then called Brian to fix the gutter draining issues, lose bracket issues, and seam separation issues. He said he'd come on 2 separate occasions but made excuses why he couldn't make it, now he doesn't return calls or texts.

When we decided to have landscaping done, we contacted Emerald Landscaping. Within a couple days we received a response - which is excellent - and Dallas came to our home promptly to discuss what we wanted, to measure, and make plans to get started. We were thrilled that the work started sooner than anticipated and was completed much quicker than expected. The men showed up promptly, were very friendly but professional. They didn't need to be reminded to finish any work and no corrections were needed. The good, highly skilled craftsmen completed the landscaping as we were told they would. As of today, he has done sprinkler head change out to assure my yard is getting proper watering. This Shan guy promised my elderly parents all kinds of great stuff and even showed them pictures…read more He took $2000 dollars from my elderly parents upfront stating he "needed it to get their stone and other stuff". Once he had the money, he stopped ALL communication and never returned to do the promised work. We tracked him down, and discovered that he had spent the money already on other things and then gave us a plethora of excuses as to why he could not do the work. Additionally, he said that because the money was already spent he would need more money in order to come and complete the project. From my perspective, this person is a scammer, and has financially abused my elderly parents. He has never returned the money even after our repeated attempts to get it back. This behavior is criminal.
