I have been a Student of Elite Martial Arts for almost two years now. This isnt the first review that I have done for EMA and I Echo the sentiments for the very first review I gave for them. I think that Elite Martial Arts is the best place to train in a safe environment. Before Joining Elite, I never thought about branching out and meeting new people, trying new things etc. but everyone at Elite was so welcoming and made everything as comfortable as possible. Their ultimate goal is to make sure you have a good time and get a great workout while at the same time, teaching practical self defense to protect oneself. All of the instructors from Sifu Vito down to the ITP team are wonderful people and are willing to teach you what they can so that you can succeed in your goal to reach the black belt. I am currently a red belt and have learned so much from them in the time that I have trained with them. In the time that I have been at Elite Martial Arts, everyone has become like family to me and I have met some great people throughout my time. All my work friends, family members, and even random people I meet always asks me about martial arts and I'm always quick to tell them all about Elite and how great it is. "A NEW FAMILY THAT ONE CAN ACTUALLY LIKE"...SMILE. So Covid came around, The kids were going stir crazy, and we were even prior to covid looking for a Martial arts academy that had all the necessary ingredients. After shopping around diligently to find this so-called "Perfect academy", there it was "ELITE MARTIAL ARTS". So from the get-go, I signed my son up and the overall constant vibes were nothing but Positive from and to every direction from not only all the staff, but students alike, like a pleasant family reunion each time. At this point as I was constantly driving my son to practice and meeting our new extended family, it came to a point where it all seemed silly of why I should just be watching with some of the other parents/ new family members and decided, I need to join and partake in all the fun they were all having, so I did. It's been several months now and nothing has changed by way of our decision to be part of our new family who are all constantly offering to assist, help, and support us or anyone in any way one may need. Although not your typical martial arts student, I can give a very accurate account of EMA. I started here three years ago at age 59 partly because of a specific interest in Jeet Kune Do, and partly in preparation to stay active once I retired. Long story short, I just passed my black belt test a few weeks ago. Sifu Vito is unbelievably knowledgeable, and the entire teaching staff is extremely helpful, skillful, and friendly. No one had ever been impatient with me (except myself), or laughed at me, even though sometimes I had to laugh at my own efforts. I've made some good friends here, and many of them, as well as the staff are like family. The nice part about JKD is that it's a blend of the best techniques of a variety of arts, so it's effective and interesting, and includes using weapons or empty hands. It's so much fun, you almost don't realize you're exercising. I'm in better shape now than I was in my 20s. The children's program teaches discipline, respect and self confidence, and the staff constantly looks for (and finds) ways to improve the student experience. Whether for a child or adult, I cannot recommend EMA more highly. read more

It helped me with my people skills, and helps you to communicate better with others. It also is a great way to discipline your kids, as well as adults. My wife sought out Elite Martial Arts with the intent to fulfill our shared vision of enrolling our daughters in martial arts training. I had successfully completed my yellow belt in Judo in my final semester of college, and wanted to continue honing my skills and improving my fitness. The entire staff of Elite Martial Arts made us feel welcome and appreciated, and were highly respectful of our customs. All of the trainers and staff exhibit incredible skills in one on one interaction, and they know you on a first name basis, and vice versa. I consider it an honor to be a student, and I'm already seeing marked improvement in my children's self-confidence and discipline. My son was interested in starting some sort of martial arts during the summer while school was out. We didn't really know what style of martial arts to pick, so we made an appointment with Mr. Ryan to see what to do. Asher decided he wanted to make the commitment to work towards obtaining his black belt In Jeet Kune Do. My granddaughter and I started taking classes last year and we really love it! Wanted to find something we could do together and this is the perfect place. The staff and students are amazing such positive people, it's difficult sometimes to try new things but once you come to class you're very happy you did. Our son Jake has been going for a little more than a month now and we couldn't be happier! The varying class times makes it easy for our schedule to go 2x a week. The amount of help and instruction is top notch. Jake has not only gained some sweet moves, his confidence is better and he is excited to go to class! We moved recently and we're looking for a place for my girls to continue their martial arts training. We focus on importance of self defense and self confidence. My girls initially were sad to leave what they knew and all the friends they had built while attending a martial arts location back home. I know in time they will also feel the same at Elite.
