The shipper noted the damage at the time of pickup and, luckily, took photos of the car before it was loaded on the trailer. I sent the pre-owned manager, Farid Santiago, photos of the vehicle as it was listed on his web site and what it looked like when I received it. There has been no response from him. These people are super shady.. I spoke to a salesman over the phone regarding a Jeep Wrangler I was looking at.. First of all I never knew this place only sold wrecked vehicles.. we were talking about the car and I asked if the title was clean and he said it was a salvage title he said that meant the car had been wrecked and it had minor damage.. never did we realize the car was still wrecked when we went to look at it.. But even worse we placed a 1,000 deposit so they wouldn't sell the car and were never told the money was non refundable.. when I go to see the car it was still wrecked and I thought well maybe they need to still fix it.. but after questioning we have to fix it.. well it was more than minor fixing.. the body of the car was cracked in the trunk area over the wheel well.. and would need to be saudered and a lot of it.. the back door wouldn't close because of the framing be pushed in and the gas tank was smooshed in as well and needs a new bumper just to name a few things.. after we decided that would be way to much we weren't going to take the vehicle...oh by the way your not getting your refund.. . Never did they say that over the phone.. I spoke to Assistant after asking for manager and he never came out.. in conclusion she she said there would be no refund.. so buyer please beware.. also they allowed a bunch of people coming in and out of building to not have to wear a mask..they did not even tell them anything.. read more

I tried to purchase a 2017 Lexus NX salvage car from Elite Motors of America - Miami. Their were 12 pics of the car on eBay and then on their website. There was note that the car was drivable and then just the original equipment listing from Lexus. This car was hit from the front. I requested a pic from the front, straight on to assess the grill, bumper, etc and also the dash with the car running to determine any warning lights. I could barely see the steering wheel in an original pic. They took one of the dash close up, off showing only the mileage. I was then suspicious the steering wheel airbag deployed. The said the car was perfect otherwise (phone conversation was recorded by them). One of the men on the other end finally said yes, the airbag deployed. I still offered them a price and they accepted it, on condition the agreed to refund the $500 to me if their were other warning lights on. I was flying to Miami the next weekend to drive the car back. They agreed. I sent a signed form and then Cristian said they boss said "no" they wouldn't sign to return my deposit if other warning lights were on. Then they said last week and this week, the car is at our "deposit" and then at the "auction patio" and so we can't send more pictures. I arranged for a Cashier's check pending the guarantee letter and then they backed out. There were 3 or 4 different people answering the emails....Pablo...but then is was Maine Lee. All in all very disappointing and very suspicious. I am not convinced they even had the car. Who knows. VERY LEARY. Found the bad reviews and glad it didn't go through. read more

I purchased a car from Elite in 2012, two weeks later the car started to act up. When I purchased the car they told me I had 30 days to bring it in for service or to return the car if I changed my mine. Instead of fixing the problem with the car, I got the run around, lies and deceit from them. Finally the car broke down, I called them, they came and got the car, took it to AAA transmission, and then I was told it would cost $1,600 to repair the transmission. They abandon the car there and refuse to pay for the repairs. Later through carfax I found out that the car was involved in two accidents, they had purchased the car with 174,000 miles on the odometer but it was rolled back to 93,000 when it was sold to me. They sold the car for much more than it was worth. Do not let the shiny exterior of their cars fool you. All they do is dab a new coat of fresh paint on junk cars and sell them. DO YOUR HOME WORK BEFORE BUYING THEIR CARS, once you signed their papers, the law is not going to be on your side. Do not make my mistake, do the following: GET A CARFAX. Go there with YOUR OWN certify mechanic. DO NOT GO ON A TEST DRIVE WITH THEIRS. DO NOT SIGN THE ODOMETER DISCLOSURE STATEMENT FORM, stating that the odometer might not be accurate. Most likely they rolled it back and they will blame it on a mechanical problem, because they know it is against the law to do that. ASK FOR THE WARRENTY. ASK TO SEE THE CAR PAPERS, if they cannot show them to you, they are hiding something. If something needs to be fix, GET IT IN WRITING. Once you sign that paper that says, "AS IS," the law will be on their side regarding that piece of junk they sold you. Go find yourself a reputable car dealer; you might pay a little more, but minus the headaches. DO NOT GO TO ELITE MOTORS ENTERPRISES. read more

They are very unprofessional the way they go about things so make sure you on point dealing these thieves. I financed a piece of shit car that ran good the first week or so, Than thats when the problems commenced. Furthermore, i would send my money orders on time but somehow they would always receive them late which got me charged a late. And when i got the piece of shit car repossessed, they tried to tax me and extra $1000 for bullshit repo fees, and told me i couldnt get it back till i paid $7,500 on a piece of shit Chevy Impala. I purchased a car from elite motors on 07/02/15, I gave them a $2,000 down payment . the car was selling for $4,995, I was to make 48 car payments at $112.98 bi-weekly or $226.56 a month. A week after purchasing the car the car refused to start, the A.C did not work and the passenger side window did not work, I contacted elite about the AC, which I was given the runaround, after 2months of not getting any help from them I just added some freeon for the AC. I once again contacted them 3 days after purchasing this car about the passenger side window not going down, after 2 months of back and forth and runaround they finally found their mechanic the window was fixed. I contacted elite motors immediately after the car refusing to start, I thought it might need a new car battery so I went & purchase a car battery--nothing was wrong with the battery, the next day, the car just refused to start again, after contacting elite motors I was told to bring the vehicle to their mechanic which I thought was stupid seeing as how this car couldn't be moved. The car has only been driven 3 times since I purchased it because it wouldn't start. On 10/17/15 I went to elite motors dealership to make my monthly car payment of $226.56 plus $50 late fees, I was never told about the car being repossessed, until 11/03/15 my grandmother contacted me saying that the car is missing, I called elite and was then informed that they repossessed the car due to delinquent payments, I have ALL of my receipts where it clearly shows I was NOT delinquent on payments because I was getting charged a $50 late fees and they accepted my money, I was NEVER told that I couldn't be late on payments at all, it clearly states on the bill of sales that I would be charge a $50 late fee, which I pay with every car payment. I just sent my car payment in the form of money order to elite motors and they took the car. Granted my payments may have been late-- no later then a week late. I was never told that this wasn't acceptable or the car is in repossessions. I explained to the lady over the phone that I was just down at elite motors and I was told everything is caught up, she then says to me if I want the car back I will have to give them $4,000, there is absolutely nowhere in the contract that stats that. I was never told about that. Now they have their lemon, my $2,000 down payment and my year of car payments. They sold me a pretty lemon and scammed me out of my hard earned money. I'm in the process of contacting the ftc as well as help me Howard and to look into what my legal options are. Elite motors has my address my phone number and they didn't contact me about anything. Then the lady started getting rude with my wife because my wife was asking where on the sales contract does it states that I would have to pay elite $4,000 in order to get back the car?she became rude and belligerent.
