We were extremely satisfied with Elite Movers for our local move in North Charleston! I had found them on a quick google search and they had great reviews. I got a quote with them super quickly and they respond via text, which is so great. They were very fairly priced, and they don't start their time until they show up to the house and end when they are finished, as opposed to other places! Syquone Pierre and Corey were nothing short of incredible. They fully moved us out of one 3 bedroom house and into another in less than 4 hours. They were so kind, optimistic and genuinely fun to be around. They took the time to wrap literally EVERYTHING before moving it which we've never experienced before and made the heaviest pieces look like child's play when lifting them. I called for a quote, the agent told me all these numbers which was confusing, and I didn't have a calculator available. She was extremely rude when I expressed, I was confused with the pricing and requested a more direct total. She was very short tempered. I was patient and kind, but she was very nasty. I asked for a text or email for total cost for 3 men, 3 hours to unload a moving truck and that's all I needed to avoid any hidden fees which seems to be a common with moving companies. They communicated clearly, confirmed prior as well as when they were en route and arrived when they said that they would, a HUGE relief during a potentially frustrating time. This is our second move with Elite movers. We moved from a three level 2500 sf townhome to a 1300 sq apartment. We had a storage facility for half our furniture. So we moved to two places essentially. It was a hard move, made harder by construction in the town home complex and interference by the construction crew that stopped our move at one point. A nightmare. I would have never made it through if it weren't for these three young men. To say they are the best at what they do is a complete understatement. This move was 12 hours long. They never complained. They never slowed down and they offered moral support when things got tense with the construction people. I just can't say enough about these three guys and this company. BEWARE. We chose this company for it's amazing reviews to finish wrapping our furniture and then move our apt into a POD. We were told beforehand to buy a lot of moving blankets to wrap our furniture in (not cheap). We were very explicit that any items not boxed needed to be wrapped and gave specific examples. One of us noticed that some items were not being wrapped and personally handed the furniture blankets to them with a reminder. They finished in 1.5 hrs (pay for 2 hr min). We had a rough moving process without having any help (COVID, high risk) and thought that something had finally gone well! ...Until we visited the POD and pulled back the mattreses that were blocking what is pictured-everything, fragile or not, thrown in and items unwrapped (see photo). Heartbroken, we called the company and left a message- no response. Eventually it came time to unpack our stuff. Most of the items were not wrapped. The couple that were survived. The photos provided are just a *sample* of what our new or "like new" furniture now looks like. In the back of our POD was thrown the stack of moving blankets we bought. We called two more times recently after seeing our items- no response. And what we paid is farrrrrr less than all of the damage that has occurred. We are in disbelief. Horrific. read more

Our experience was fantastic. The owner was very professional and punctual with setting everything up, sending over an agreement via DocuSign and a receipt (that included our cash tip) for tax purposes. We used them for a full pack and move from Mount Pleasant, SC to Savannah, GA. All of our items were well wrapped and fragile things were packed and wrapped with care. We had no damages to our belongings even after going down one flight of stairs and up another. Three men came to pack and load and then two drove the truck to GA to unload.
